We need a striker. That is so damn obvious. Rooney is not the answer neither is Fellaini.

The LVG system has to have a lethal striker. If you don't all you have is possession. United has won ...the possession.

You need attacks , shots on goal, chances. The slow possession game is just so damn frustrating.

The GK is not good. De gea will have saved that.

LVG must change his system to suit the premiership. It is no disgrace losing to Swansea but there are weaknesses in that team tag needs urgent sorting out.

Rooney is spent. It's painfully obvious. I've said since the start of the season that the keeper is ****. If DDG goes and we're stuck with Romero then we're going to have problems. I think Blind was also shown up as a centre half today.

What will be lost in the defeat is Shaw's performance. I thought he was absolutely outstanding.

A worse decision was selling Welbeck. His finishing is horrible but he stretches defences and creates space for other players. Rooney can't finish and is slow. Oh well, done now.

Credit to Swansea. They're a good team. We "should" have won the game but we also deserved to lose if that makes sense. Lots of nice possession but rarely looked like converting it into goals. They have a couple of clinical finishers, hence they won without the ball, if that also makes sense. I believe their two goalscorers were signed for a total of £0.

They are my second team (as I spent 3 years in my younger days in Morriston) but I was hoping for an off day from them today.

LVG needs at some strikers urgently. We could even do with some 10-15m firepower, Less than 2 days to go.

Rooney was the best thing since sliced bread last week but a knob this week. The media will be all talking about MU and their mistakes and very little about the way the swans played to win for the 3rd meeting in a row. .The fact is we are a team that have improved over the years and have achieved established premiership status without breaking the bank and sticking to our philosophy of how the game should be played. Today after much homework by monk and after Rooney was on a high after his hat trick we knew we had to nullify him and we did that very well. MU are a good team that we are trying to get like and slowly but surely we are getting there, After saying that the papers will be all about MU tomorrow with little praise for us, but we are use to that now and we will continue our business under the radar as usual...Enjoyed the game and MU will be in the top 4 at the end of the season...

That wasn't a bad decision. Welbeck is a support striker but will never be a number 1 or 2.

I don't get this talk about Welbeck. I definitely don't want him back. I'd take RVP back though. Or bring back Ruud. Lol

    This.

Swansea is a good team. To lose against them (you lot) away is no disgrace as I said earlier. Many teams will be turned over in Swansea.

I just hope it is a wake up call.

Don't take this the wrong way but I think Swansea capitalised on two unforced errors today. At 1-0 up we were in control of the game but Rooney was a mess all game and it was one of his countless poor passes that gifted you possession while we were attacking your half. Now I want to balance that bcos I don't want to sound like you didn't play well bcos you did, or aren't a good team bcos you are, but imo last season you outplayed us, today we outplayed ourselves more than anything. Can't really comment about what the media will say, but whatever they say about United won't be far wrong tbh.

Swansea beating United is no fluke. United's system doesn't work well against a good passing team like Swansea. And if you have chances you need to take them. And we took only one of them.

And tbf Swansea had the better chances in the first half.

I don't blame Rooney, don't blame the defence, don't even blame Romero. The blame lies solely at Van Gaal's feet. It's not Rooney's fault the manager hasn't bought another striker. It's not Romero's fault that 3 other goalies are sitting in the stands waiting to be shipped out. A fcking 2 year old could see we needed to sort these positions out.

Our style of football is cumbersome and wasting the talents of a very good squad of players. If anyone honestly thinks we are winning anything with Van Gaal in charge, you are living in cloud cuckoo land. The guy is a fcking spoofer.
