    I can't say I rate Lovren either, but that doesn't alter my opinion on Sakho. Rodgers patently isn't having him as a CB in a flat back 4. So much so, I wouldn't be in the lest bit surprised if he left the club on loan before Tuesday night.

    Trying to look on the positive for united game how about this as midfield forward line without Coutinho.

    Lucas
    Hendo Can
    Milner Benteke Moreno
    ​
    Up up until now we've had Coutinho as the main man in attack with everything going through him by without him, we should be using benteke as the main goal attacking threat.

    Have Milner and Moreno stay wide to exploit the gaps that Shaw and Darmian leave behind when they both push on (exactly how Swansea scored their 2) and get plenty of crosses in for Benteke who can stand on Blind and win everything.

    Or should I say the squad offers Rodgers options.

    Plan 1. Resolve total lack of width.... Hmmm Joe gomez looks like he'd be in trouble then as we've no left foot player bar moreno who I am sorry but he is not a left winger nor never will be. If he's not trusted as lb then he's no good to us imo. He's just not that good on the ball to move forward permanently.

    Plan 2. 2 forwards.... not at old Trafford thanks but it can work for us I think.

    Plan 3: 3 at back... ffs no way let's not go there already but then Rodgers has.....

    Plan 4: hope lallana is back after international... ffs

    Coutinho only misses one game

    Benteke needs decent service and Moreno and Milner offer great crossing ability from out wide.

    I I know benteke offers much more than just a head it man in the middle, but for one game against a CB partnership that includes a short ass midfielder, play to your strengths and opponents weaknesses. Romero Hasnt been tested in crosses yet either and we know how foreign keepers struggle initially
