I wouldn't compare them, as thy are a bit different type of player. Wanyama is a typical destroyer, while Romeu is more of a Morgan type of player. Tough he is playing very well today, I'm also impressed.
Easy. Why shouldn't Tadic celebrate the red card. Getting the defender sent off is a completely fair part of the game, and when he does things like that it would practically be rude not to.
He's a much better distributor of the ball than Wanyama. But not as good on defense. I'm just not sure playing the two of them together works. So arguably, you could play Romeu at home and Wanyama away or against tougher teams. Who knows? Maybe that was Koeman's plan and that is why Wanyama is upset.
Hooray! The imposters from Thursday have left the stage, and the real Saints have replaced them, well done boys and keep it going, attractive passing football, with Tadic, Mane and Pelle on form, makes such a difference
My internet is rather slow today, so I haven't been bothering to keep checking in. Monkey off the back of the forum, do we think.?
Well after the sending off, it's a completely different game. But before the sending off, we showed good signs that we're getting back at our usual style of play. The key player is Tadić; he can be inconsistent, but no one in our squad can match his creativity and he needs, no, he must start every match.
I know it sounds like sour grapes bit I promise it is not.............does Pelle always go over so easy in the box? Twice he went down, waving his arms about for a penalty. I am a bit surprised he has not seen yellow yet.
Saying on Sky that Pelle was offside...that could never be given offside during play. They stopped the film at one point where Pelle's foot was slightly forward...in another shot the defenders foot was forward....because they are blooming moving! Their bodies were level and Pelle was wearing the defender. This is why I would hate overuse of technology during a game where offsides are measured with micrometers. There would be so many goals disallowed....and long delays while people argued about it.
