I feel tomorrow's game will be ugly an affair but we'll grind out a 1-0 win...

    It's the winning that counts!

    I would play:

    Stekelenburg
    Cedric
    Fonte
    Maya
    Targett
    Reed
    Romeu
    Davis
    JWP
    Tadic
    Pelle

My two favourite Saints players? I would leave them to rot.

    Stek
    Cedric Fonte Caulker Targett
    Wanyama Romeu
    Mane JWP Tadic
    Pelle

Davis, Yoshida, Reed, Davis, Juanmi, Long, Jay

If Bertrand had been available, I'd have been tempted to go for Reed rather JWP. But given that Targett restricts what offensive threat we can offer from that position, having three defensive-minded CMs on top of that wouldn't be ideal.

He has the temerity to ambitions beyond Southampton. Time to draw and quarter them all!

Well if we play hoofball and/or lose tomorrow I will be pushing aggressively for a transfer away from the happy clappers. I have enjoyed 5 great seasons alongside my fellow Saints Happy Clappers but a lot of them have now moved onward to the mighty 'moaning bastards' and since I heard others sing to that tune a few months ago it has stayed with me and been going through my thoughts all day every day.

I will of course thank all you fellow happy clappers (those who are left anyway) by posting a huge picture of myself kissing my former 'happy clapping hands' with the only text being 'Thank You' underneath.

p.s. Someone in a 'moaning bastard' shirt asked me to sign it the other day and then asked me if I was going to be a 'moaning bastard' next week. I replied I hope so.

Oi Impsaint, you've got two years left on your Happy Clapper contract, so you're going nowhere fella!

Then I shall jump up and downwith my 'angry feet', refuse to clap but ultimately leave the post I have been editing since Watford on how we are playing and performing like Branfoot's Saints team would have without Le Tissier!!!

eek...and that is how I view things.......At the moment!!!

    I'll go a 2-0 win.

    -------------Stekkers--------------
    Cedric-Fonte-Caulker-Targett
    -----------Vic----Romeu----------
    Tadic-------Juanmi---------JRod
    ----------------Pelle----------------

That seems a very offensive line-up but we've struggled to create and score lately so i'd like to see us net a couple of times to get confidence up before the break and before Ryan and Jordy come back into the fold.

Meltdown. Koeman Out. Sack the board. Blow up St. Mary's. All our players are bastards.

Only joking. I'm still a happy clapper! :emoticon-0165-muscl:emoticon-0147-emo:<applause>:emoticon-0172-mooni:emoticon-0136-giggl<laugh><cheers>

We have had shots on target....eventually one must go in. The opposition can't go on playing without cock ups. All about confidence....we need this game. Time for fans to be happy clappy....never helps a player to hear 30,000 people groaning or tutting at every slip up. Early goal (that's anytime in the first half) and excited fans and I can see a 2-0 win for Saints.

Still, it's too early to call 999 yet, so go buy a 99 with a flake, and forget about all our worries.

Good lad. I think rather than getting upset about being not very good, just embrace it and have a laugh, because...

...we'll be good again soon. And being good brings with it an uneasy pressure to win every bloomin' game. That sort of thing just doesn't sit well with me. Right now, I'm a Saints fan again!

Wanyama will not be in the squad today despite training according to Gary Jacob of The Times.

Is this a hint that he has packed his bags and is off to Arsenal for around £20m? I feel we are in for a "Sunderland" type season with the personnel we have at present. There's nobody there that is going to rip up trees, Mane and a fit JRod, apart, and most Premiership teams would make those run up the proverbial "blind alleys."
