went to both games and really enjoyed the day, well done to both neath and port talbot for playing their part in giving the swansea players a good work out. swansea controlled both games which is to be expected. there was some neat passing with the new boys slotting in quite comfortable. i thought beattie was outstanding today and Luke moore looked good. the man bodde looked a little jaded but from one of his passes to beattie produced a goal. bodde just needs to take it easy and not over exert himself in training as i heard that he done double training before the match today. when he went off fans thought the worst but it was just a precaution as Brendan could see he had done to much throughout the day......a great workout for everyone....
Dragon - once again criticising Tony Pennock. Have you 2 argued? You do sound like Dai, bitter because Huw sacked him. I've never seen Scott tancock play, or know anything about him, but that is very harsh on such a young player. There had been times when I saw Allen play, and he looked useless and I thought there was no way he would good enough for this team. But he improved
Don't know if anyone's seen much of Jordan Smith??!! But thought he stood out, especially 2nd half when it was all kids. Looks a promising talent....
iv seen Scott tancock play a few times at st Helen's where swansea youth play and he is a tidy player, him and lucas deserve there chance and its only nerves that is bound to affect them playing with the first team players. give them a chance.

He was bloody useless in the school boys, and he's bloody useless for our youth development, I hope we dump him before we set up our academy, matter of fact I hope he goes the way of David Moss, and the sooner the better! He is right though, pennock is completely useless at what he does, I and others have seen his shenanigans time and again over the years, really you have to see how much contempt there is for him from various parties to see that it will be a complete disaster to have him in charge of the academy ! I have said it before bring someone in who has the experience of running a football academy , and have trunds and o'leary and maybe monk when he retires to head up the development of the youth, the kids will eat it up and we as a club will come on with players coming though, if you really want a gamble throw trunds in at the deep end have him run the bloody lot !
dragon if you go to as many matches as me that includes the first, reserve and youth teams then i will listen. your criticizing players and penncock and you dont know them, they dont get offered profecional forms if they are rubbish. you dont know what you are talking about and rhys is right what he is saying....

Fair play to Scott Tancock I thought he held his own against Kerry Morgan, he's only 17 and a second year scholar so for him to get a whole game at Neath at right back shows that the club have hopes for him. The friendlies were really just a training exercise with a mixture of players in each, thought both Danny Graham and Ryan Harley did well in the first half at Neath whilst Ferrie showed his undoubted class in the short time he was on at Port Talbot. The crowd became quite subdued when he went off fearing the worst but word spread that it was thankfully just a slight hamstring problem and he looked happy enough post match giving the thumbs up to concerned fans.
some like him and some dont, some think he does a good job and some dont. thats the way the world revolves im afraid. you are not wrong and im not wrong, thats the fact of the matter, its opinions and does not matter here or there..

ferrie boddie is a fcuking scrounger he,s signed a contract and cant wait to get back on the sick. ffs the guy hasnt played since lge 1 and you expect him to cut it in the prem, not a hope. he scores a flukey goal from the half way line years ago and everyone seems to think he can do it all the time, well he cant hes human hes a scrouger we should have sold him to derby ages ago useless cnut.
