Yep - when I was looking at the performance, the first thing I thought was 'we need someone who can run around in midfield'. And Henderson is perfect!

As I mentioned, we need to get Lallana and Henderson back into the team. Once they come back, I'm sure we'll improve.

You're right - Henderson is brilliant at passing, and keeping possession. His ability to get on the ball and make things happen, his dribbling, leadership - sorely missed.

 

Shame about Skrtel and Lovren - today was a minor blip. They've been brilliant for the last 3 games and all of last season.

Just as long as our full backs don't push on as much as they did today, and continue to babysit them.

Oh not at all mate - we kept 3 clean sheets remember? Which meant that our defensive woes were resolved (if you disregard the fact that we conceded legit goals against both Bournemouth and Arsenal, Skrtel and Lovren are awful when exposed, full backs finally pushed up and babysit them and they capitulated, and Skrtel and Lucas can't defend when they're not in a deep defensive set up).

 

Benteke was brilliant as well.

 

They never have been or will be brilliant, unfortunately at the moment they are the best you have. Ilori needs a chance.

Before today I was 50/50 on Rodgers (the first three games did nothing to change my mind most of it was down to dumb luck), that dropped to 70/30 in favour of sacking. Nothing learnt from last season, still no goals and still games where the defence fall apart. Rodgers is not the man for the job and living under a false reputation, Luis Suarez's reputation at that.
As soon as Klopp declares himself back in, Rodgers should be out the door.
