I stopped following RL as it was difficult, pre internet. My mate has worked really hard and developed rugby league down here. There is a banner on a local park fence that actually impresses me so much "Coxford Tigers Junior Rugby League Team" a Southampton based junior RL team!!! In Hull or in any Northern town or city this would not be unusual, but Southampton. Andy has just moved back to Hull and he would be an asset to any RL of football club as a commercial manager.
How does, **** right off grab you? Maybe with the exception of rip threads, you can't just have a thread of one sided opinion. Tbat's just bollocks.
What is a rip thread? Anyway, moving on, do I have it right, that you try to make a point of arguing everything? You are looking to be 'Devils advocate' maybe? If so, isn't that a pointless endeavour? What is it that makes you question everything anyone ever says? Even when the opinions given are so obviously correct.
I don't question everything. There are loads of topics Indon't comment on. When I see something posted I think is doubtful, I question it to see if it's bollocks, or if I can learn something. It looks like the things are far from obviously correct. This thread for example.
DMD i nearly always respect what you say, But I simply can;t for the life of me see where it is not correct in wishing HKR the best of luck today.
The whole nation will be laughing at Hull tonight. Well done Rovers for heaping yet more shame on the city in the national spotlight. How embarrassing.
I haven't said there is. I've wished them all a good day out several times in this thread. Of the two, I prefer Rovers. My argument is toward some of the cobblers some have tried sneaking in. Mainly non-KR fans by the look of it.
This is further proof that wishing good luck has no effect. Next time we should pray for one of our rugby teams and see if prayer does any better.
Honestly mate, you've lost me. Was it something Airlie Tiger said? Because for the life of me, l can't see anything at all.
It's pretty clear from reading the thread. I don't think it needs dragging out, but airlie's was the initial comment about a lack of success other than rl, which was then expanded on by some others.
I did before I replied to your question. I stand by all I've put. Whether you choose to agree or disagree is irrelevant, it's done and others can make their own minds up. Draging it out as you are is far worse. If you disagree with a point I've made in responding to some of the guff, feel free to argue it. Criticising me for having an opinion on a discussion forum seems a bit futile to me.
That's how RL fans will see it. In reality only a few towns along the M62 will give a **** at all. It's not news or interest anywhere else. Union on the other hand is.
