oh Chazz, your optimism makes me wanna have a ****. yeah SB is a chumpionship manager at best................... so what? he's ****ing useless against the big boys in PL tho'
****ing hell Patty ....... you're like the turd that won't flush, try taking more water with it, you boring cretin.
I'm a realist mate. when youre all slitting your wrists cos we dont make the top 6, I will be be able to sit back and say "told you so"
If we keep Diame then we have every chance, the likes of Clucas are very exciting too. The football is a bit dire because the players and team haven't gelled yet with it being only August still. There were signs for me on Tuesday that Diame Clucas and Meyler could make a nice midfield combination, didn't go today so don't know how that progressed, also no Huddlestone frees them up in the middle and makes us more fluid as a team. (Edit) should add Hayden into that equation so midfield 4
we're second because Brucie hasn't contrived a situation to give Junior a game yet - maybe he learnt his lesson from last season
Oh, good. Sir Cyber Bully will be back from his hols soon to elevate the tone. I keep giggling at the thought of his Merc parked outside his rented caravan at Withernsea.
To say we have been dire is a bit harsh. I thought we were comfortable against Huddersfield and today against Preston without ever setting the world alight. Against Fulham we were excellent for half an hour and deserved to win in the end. Having said that in all the games we have played thus far we have had periods when we have been under pressure and looked vulnerable. Agree about the squad after Tuesday. I reckon the other player someone has bid for is Thudd - and I didn't think SB was inviting bids. Good to hear SB taking responsibility for our relegation and declaring his determination to put it right this season. I got the impression that he would be happy to replace the 2 we are likely to lose and add the goalkeeper we are looking at - and that would do us. Also think we might raid the loan market and then reassess come January.
I spent the afternoon cutting down a 40ft hedge in the sun with some cold beers, and won £140 on my bets. The match can **** off, i've had a great day
Agree with this. If it hadn't been for Davies and Dawson we would of been in the ****e. If either of them go we will have big problems, as we will if either get injured.
The better teams, Wolves and Charlton, gave us problems. Glad Huddlestone is now out, but will Bruce keep it that way?
Are they better teams or is it the way we played because we were away from home? Anyway, agree that Thudd is not cut out for the hustle and bustle of the championship. We will be better served by Meyler, Hayden, Diame (hopefully at least til January) and Clucas on today's performance. Need to be more adventurous away from home.
Judge it in a couple of months coz we havent played well yet and havent played the main protagonists We hardly set the footballing world alight the last time we went ip
They may have been better as a 'team' right now, but that is also connected to tactics too. Brighton seem to be playing well as a team, so I hope we don't set up just to absorb pressure and do nothing more. Diame, Maloney and Clucas could help spring a counter attacking threat right from the start of the game.
