yeah, the same with any sport where the rules are open to interpretation, the problem I have with 4th officials and their video playback is tackles always look 10x more vicious in slow-mo. I doubt it'll be overturned as they'll always back the refs decision.

The game was over after the red but to keep to one goal is encouraging and that was a ****ing deflection.

 

Maybe but as far as I'm concerned we have put in two phenomenal performances, one good performance (Saints) and one poor game against Swansea. Pre-season I had us down for 4 defeats. The difference in attitude from the players on the pitch and therefore ability is so much better than last season it is unbelievable. We had 4 points from 5 games at the start of the 02-03 season. Give it time, we'll come good. I'd even be prepared to put money on us finishing top 10 come end of season!

 

There were some big performances today and I'm happy with how we played. Arsenal players rolled around like little bitches on and off the ball. I now understand why they get called cheats. Their behaviour at times was embarassing.

 

It was another **** performance in which the the red card masks just how pathetic it was playing out until it arrived.

Its not as uf we were even in the game with eleven players.

We are lucky marriner didn't give a stonewall penalty and send off Thauvin.

 

Send off Thauvin? What the **** are you on about? Even if it was a pen no fan in the land would except a red card for that.

Alright we're still on two points. But what did people expect, having played two of the top four teams in the league, plus Swansea away? New manager, new players, still obvious weaknesses that probably won't be fixed - it will take time for things to click.

Time will occur no matter what, however the future isn't written so i can only comment on what i can see or have seen.

Southampton actually should have won by perhaps two goals, Swansea looked like Barcelona, man united was a draw we frankly couldn't believe and today we lost in 16 minutes

 

It wasn't a peb? - It should have been a penalty, but can't recall a comment you've made where that statement hasn't been followed up by other negativity.

It wasn't a sending off? - I think it was harsh, and over 50% of the pundits I've heard so far have said it should have been yellow

We weren't pathetic prior to the red? - The red was on 16 minutes against a top four team. You can't judge a performance on 16% of the game against a team you know will dominate for significant parts of the game.

The thing is if it eas the other way around the same fans saying it wasn't would argue itcwas and they are pathetic.

Though think you're definitely wrong about us getting relegated for 16 mins - would definitely have made the news (or at least had its own thread)

 

I probably am wrong about relegation, however its more likely than top half I assure you.

We don't keep possession, don't create much,spend every game chasing shadows and slide around on our arses making fouls too much.
