Wouldn't have put Evans as a Pulis player...

From an NI point of view it's a good move, will play more and with Brunt + McCauley.

Funny actually that McCauley near always outperforms Evans at international level. Decent centre back.

He's a dirty thug who spits or dives in two footed then rolls about like he was the one kicked. .. sounds like Huth and shawcross to me.

He might use him at left full.

Completely forgot about that side of Evans... always seems aware he's not quite big enough and not quite smart enough, so compensates... a good defender if led (like when with Rio)... probably why he's so underwhelming at Windsor.

EDIT: it's just a different sort of nasty than 'typical Pulis' - Shawcross and Huth are more straightforward, know what you're getting.

@Tobes was saying how he rated him

Hopefully he'll admit now it's not going to happen that it would have been terrible for that **** to be on Merseyside every other week

He's not terrible... Would probably be pretty decent beside Jagielka. Sort of like Cahill... needs an organiser beside him. United don't really have one any more. Maybe Smalling one day.

Imagine if he signed for Everton he'd be there 5+ years too. He's had his career really... going to a club where he'll be well liked is what matters now.

Sunderland must be furious they've missed a United player <laugh>

Evans and Stones would make a very good CB pairing, much better than anything Liverpool have. He has had bad luck with injuries but even more so with the players he has had to compete with.

Would play Sakho and Skrtel before them... ideally Sakho and Stones though :bandit:

Evans is decent... Stones right now is decent/good with flashes of more.
