    Wexford 5.15 Golden Spear 9/4 (B365)
Chased home the mighty Clondaw Warrior at the Galway Festival (put a line through that ones run last week). I respect Mrs Harringtons filly a lot, but I'd frankly be very surprised should she beat this fella in these conditions. 9/4 might be a short enough price, but I think it's a good price in this ;)

3.45 Goodwood Captain Cat 16/1 looks overpriced in the celebration mile. The slower ground might just be to his liking over at Goodwood and his soft or worse from reads 325- the 5th being in last years Group1 mile on Champions Day at Ascot, where he made good headway having been held up. If he can put his best foot forward tomorrow he is not without a chance.

    2.20 Beverley- Maarek 5/1

Surely the horse to beat in this dropped down to listed company after a superb performance when 3rd in the Nunthorpe - the only worry is the ground has quickend up a lot (if they had the ground like they had down here at goodwood- he would be the certainty of the day) but if they go a fast pace he will pick em off will be too good

Not sure how much the ground will have dried, had. A downpour about 4 yesterday for half an hour but dry over night and dry today

2.35 Goodwood- Czech it Out- 11/1 ew

Is regular to the track so knows it like the back of his hand which can be an advantage at Goodwood but his last race is if interest finished like a train and apparently Crowley said he should have gone earlier and he would have won- he wanted to ride this today but had to ride for his retainers should definitely be there abouts today

Normally the weather does not ruin the bank holiday racing until the actual weekend. It got in early this time, so odds-on Kodi Bear could pick up a Group 2 in name only. The March Stakes used to be a St Leger trial but looks like a moderate Listed race this year.

At Beverley, fans of Maarek should be warned that the Beverley Bullet (2:20) is a favourite’s graveyard – great draw or not.

In the 3:30, topweight PEARL NOIR can follow up his latest course and distance win (beating three of these including last year’s winner Tom Sawyer) off just a 3lb higher mark and with a favourable draw.

Off a 5lb higher mark than when winning easily last time, PETERHOUSE can collect the 4:05 at the chief expense of unexposed Sealife, who won a six-runner Nottingham race on soft ground last time, and front-runner Mister Rockandroll, up 10lb for making all in a four-runner race.

I would like Kalk Bay in the 4:40 but Mick Easterby’s eight year old has not run for two months and is one pound below his highest ever winning mark, a four-runner race in 2010 when trained by William Haggas.

Over at Newmarket in the 3:25, favourite Lucky Kristale has not won in two years, making it easy to oppose her with grey PORTAMENTO, who was just behind Wet Sail at Chester last time racing on the outside.

The day’s banker has to be Leeds Rhinos to pummel Hull Kingston Rovers in the Challenge Cup. The police will be on duty in both cities, although there is nothing worth stealing in East Hull! On Kevin Sinfield’s last trip to Wembley, will they give him the Lance Todd Trophy?

Villa, City, Chelsea. 2.75/1 seems like buying money to me today.

Not the greatest days racing thats for sure!In 3.35 at Wexford Udogo is still a maidan but came second in a better race lto and can go one better and score at 3s.
Switching codes i fancy Chelski,Lpool,Man City and Stoke all to win at 3s. I hope to have good thing for the forum at Roscommon on Monday, been told this lad wont be beat if he gets the right ground, hopefully it will be a decent price to .

Peak Storm 4 50 Goodwood, huge price @ 11s, Raw Impulse huge danger @ 7/4 but both love soft, good horses, Raw Impulse 2nd lto to Memorial Day by 1/2 length has worked out very well. Reverse/forecast should be a banker and pay at least 20s

    Tricky days racing.

Two bets for me today Fascinating Rock at Windsor should win. Managed to get 7/4 when the market opened on Thursday so happy with that.

Really can't see past the SKYBET boost on the football today

    Liverpool to beat West Ham
    Chelsea to beat Palace
    City to beat Watford

    2/1 (all at home)

    2:50 Newm - FARQUHAR 13/2
    3:50 Cart - CARA COURT 4/1
    4:25 Cart - TROUBLED 12/1
    4:55 Cart - FANTASY KING 6/1

    Good luck all!!

    Afternoon All

Lucky 15 & Each Way Acca

    2.55 Beverley Point North
    2.35 Goodwood Fox Trotter
    2.50 Newmarket Magic Dancer
    3.25 Newmarket Portamento

Have a £50 free bet on the 2.00 Goodwood thanks to Litigant (great tip last week). So after ages spent looking at the race I kept coming back to Epsom Icon, so that is where the readies have gone. Best of luck to all today.
