Liked the lad to be honest. Was never going to work with him and the people 'upstairs'.......got us along the road and very thankful for that!!
Raised the profile of our club. Unfortunately not everybody at the club was/is as professional as he was.
Let loose with too much financial power early in his managerial career, with a bit more advice and guidance, possibly something he would not take anyway, he could have gone on to become a great.
Did a good job for us, would probably still be here if it was not for being treated badly. Read his book recently and he is as honest as the day is long and I don't think people could take that. Fergie included.
I loved Keane when he came in he made it enjoyable to watch the team again and seemed to bring a bit more pride to the club, for me he played as big a role as quinn in turning the club around by instilling a winning mentality about the club which has sadly been slowly eroded away ever since he left.
If he was still there, you wouldn't have players taking the piss as much. There was talk of 'The General' not taking ****, he looks as much as a pushover as the last lot, Di Canio aside, who actually had some bollocks.

Good thing of course. He got us up and we've not been down since. I remember those days though, when The Championship was a league we played in regularly. No expectations. Mind you the entitlement has seriously risen among fans since. Something about the club i've come to hate. It's encouraged a culture of whining bitches who think we're owed something.
He told the players they were sh***, and he got us up but we are still sh***. What can the club be doing wrong ? are we cursed or something or maybe £200m will put it right.
