Couldn't you wait until next week when you play Baggies? You do us both a favour then Have to say everything is pointing to us stealing the points on Sunday, our away form under Alex Neil is quite extra-ordinary, and I have to say you boys look a shadow of your team of last season so far this year. You'll be absolutely fine and will finish half way up the table I'm sure, I just feel this is a really good time for us to play you, and I am very confident that we'll be able to leave with all three points - but then I think that every week! The pessimist in me just keeps thinking that knowing NCFC we'll head to St Mary's in good form with Saints on a poor run having just been knocked out of Europe and so well-travelled and with morale low and maybe a bit leg weary and somehow Saints will suddenly turn in the sort of performance they are capable of and beat us. Everything about this match suggests that this is a brilliant time to play Saints (just a pity last night didn't go to extra time) so my head think I reckon we've got a decent chance here - maybe RvW to come on and score the winner - but my heart just has this "I've followed NCFC for a long time and things are about to go breasts vertical" feeling. Who knows maybe we'll have a couple of marque signings on board to shore up the defence and give a bit more cutting edge up front come Sunday! Hmmmm - I can feel my NCFC reality check kicking in again.
I do believe that is called "hedging your bets", and of course is absolutely fine - good luck trying to pick up maximum points though!
