Nice, I had this on vinyl and it got dropped into an I'm rather stoned mix on my bedroom turntables many a time back in the good old days. You know SD, during the war and all that stuff. Some happy memories so cheers for reminding me of this one
I've just learned that you can play youtube tunes at faster speeds. Click the settings wheel in the bottom right corner of the video and you can change the speed there, never knew that before. What you doing up at this time of day, is it raving time??
Top work unearthing this one also. I still have lots of the Kiss FM Bukem cosmic show tape recordings. The only problem is when was the last time anyone saw a cassette player to play a tape on. For any youth reading this here is a tape and cassette player... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Wow I feel old now all of a sudden. As I said SD, during the war, when life was in black and white plus rationing...
I'm self employed, I should be in bed but finish early on Fridays. Must admit to having a friend in need at present so been up late doing the good mate in time of need thing. Just a little unwinding before some ZZZzzzz's
Funnily enough my new Saab has a tape player in it.....cool. I use a tape converter to play youtube mixes when I'm driving because it doesn't have an aux in. Nothing better than driving to DnB
Wish I could find a decent copy of Danny's Song to put up. You probably have it anyway. Poxy Bukem, copyright nazi.
SD, help me when you get a chance. I'm trying to remember a track by New Balance (Yes like the footwear) I think it's a Danny Williamson track under one of his many names, 96 to 97. Does this ring a bell?
Looking at it closer I may have actually had that tape player back in the day. During my early years I spent a lot of time unemployed. Me and a mate used to go down the local tip on a sunday and buy up all the electronic stuff we'd have the guy put to the side for us. Normally like a quid or two per piece. We'd take them back to the bedsit and dry them out with a fan and set about fixing them. Sold a lot of stuff to mates for 5 quid each. Went through a lot of amps and tape players.
