Agree that we just don't, and haven't since JPT, win pressure games. We never really do represent ourselves best in any big games.
Did anyone notice the rain? Blimey it looked like the rain that gets you wet..... Football wise..............roll on Sunday.
He can move defenses around, and he doesn't stand and present a target for long balls. Honestly, that might be enough.
Massively deflating and disappointing after the excitement of qualifying last season. Seems a waste of time to be honest. I love the enthusiasm and belief of some supporters but I'm not sure how that will be if we lose 1-0 on Sunday [which is entirely feasible]. I reckon Koeman will set up for a 0-0 and hoof the ball to Pelle again - we know how that works. Something has drastically changed at the club behind the scenes. Why are we playing hoof-ball, no one can answer it and it does appear a few of our players are definitely sub par. On a better note the ice-hockey season starts Saturday and I have a lot of stats and promotional graphics to create from now on so that should distract me from the pain.
A huge huge problem is our fullbacks. Last season we had two very good fullback providing genuine attacking threat right now we have 0 threat from our fullbacks and poor defensive play aswell. Why wasn't a back up for Bertrand bought? Targett is very clearly a long long way from being ready at this level surely Ron can see that?
The team that best handled the pressure was the championship promotion team.: even that was mostly up to Lamberts ball of still with penalties.. We got a ridiculous amount that season
I think we're playing hoofball because Ronald is trying to compensate (perhaps wrongly) for the missing players by setting up for an ineffective Plan B.
I stand corrected.. Even better! That was to get into the semi final aswell.: just at the stage everyone started to get excited about the carling cup!!!
