Very rarely criticise Koeman but this has been awful. Although the fact our squad as a whole lacks creativity isn't exactly his fault. Let's just hope Clasie is bloody brilliant!
I don't disagree with you there. But the fact still remains that we have those problems going forward. I get the impression that some people really do believe that all we need between now and Tuesday is VDV, and everything will rosy with the world.

Well that's last season's good work down the ****ter. This looks like it's going to be a very mediocre season.
I've wondered for a few months if something's not right somewhere at the club- never shared views on here as inevitably will be accused of igniting the melt down. Bearing in mind RonKo was really up against it last season between the exodus and the alleged asset stripping, despite that he did remarkably well and I suspect it was his plan all along to aim for the Europa. This season he seems different, downbeat, nervous and stifled with some curious decisions. I'm not for a moment igniting silly season, but it seems as if something's not quite right. However, this performance as quite a few recently has been well below par from a number of key individuals.
With the usual caveat that it's still a bit early to get too critical... I'm pretty sure Koeman's heavily involved in our transfers so he has to take some responsibility for the make-up of the squad. True. I definitely thought more attacking options should be a priority this summer. Hey ho.
