Off Topic Rogue One - A Star Wars Story

Yea the opening clip is the only new part, it's a new angle to a previous clip. To Star Wars fans it's a big deal so I posted it. There will be other new clips as the movie approaches its release date.

The first images of Rouge One are also out as someone flew a drone over a filming site and took photos while they were filming.

 

I'm a huge fan so got excited after the first clip then a bit disappointed about the rest.

I've seen the teaser for Rogue One, which for some reason still hasn't officially come out. It looks great.

 

I'll be disappointed until they make a Sith centered old republic series of movies and finally show that the Jedi are not the good guys they movies make them seem.

 

I doubt they will, and even if they do, there is no plot from then that I know of that would do that. If you wanted that sort of plot, a Republic Commando movie might do the trick.

 

There are lots of plots literally dozens that would do that if you have played the games especially the mmo.

 

I've played KOTOR 1 and 2, and while they may make the Jedi out as not being perfect, they certainly don't portray the Sith as good guys.

 

I said the "Jedi are not the good guys" one doesn't have to make the Sith the good guys to do that. The Jedi are warmongers and genocidal religious maniacs bent on murdering or converting anyone who does not use the force in the same way they do. Not that the Sith are any better but this Sith bad Jedi good is silly.

 

You really should play the more recent mmo, play as a Sith warrior, it's a great storyline.

Ah, that's to bad. The recent MMO lets you play hundreds of hours in different story arcs, within either the Jedi or Sith. It does a great job of making the war between the Jedi and Sith really a war of two denominations of the same religion with both sides committing horrible atrocities on the other side.

 

Yeah, don't really have the time to do that anyway, I would have when I was younger. I was very keen to get that game and my PC died only a few months before it came out.

gotta admit Ive played 4 storylines so far on SWTOR ... and they are all pretty good ... Sith warrior is about the best so far ... very good stories
