    Yoonited(the new version)have had to buy their way into this seasons CL, back in the day their last successful manager qualified for the competition on a regular basis on what was a shoestring budget compared to the present manager Van Gargoyle.
    Nothing wrong with that providing they don't slate City and Chelsea for doing the same, can't see them winning it but should the unthinkable happen Lord Buckfast will be sick because his not remarkable record of only two CL wins in 27yrs at the club will be brought sharply into focus.

    Nah, our successes in European competitions pisses all over yoonited's Shtan, maybe City, Arsenal or Chelsea supporters would have something to be bitter about but not us feller.:biggrin:

    Utd will prob get PSV as no 1 seeds in their group then an easy last 16 tie as group winners then get muller ed in the qf and end up 6th in table as felliani and rooney don't score enough.....

    Or......

    They buy bale, messi and lewandowski in the next week.

    Why are Mancs acting like their qualification against an injury-ravaged league 1 side has done anything but guarantee no top 4 this season?

    Van Gaal cannot compete in multiple competitions, and certainly not with this paper thin Man Utd squad

    You need to realise United are not Liverpool. Just because your embarrassing failure of a club fell flat on it's face last season, on all fronts... Doesn't mean other's will.

    Yet you struggled last year with o ly one competition to deal with... How you going to cope with more this season? Especially if you manage to get further in the cups and not get dicked 4-0 by a league 1 side again

    You do realise the EL is the second most prestigious trophy in Europe and only behind a Donestic league and CL in terms of prestige. It's the 3rd most prestigious trophy in domestic football <doh>
