I actually agree on that, everyone goes on about that like it was a life saver.
People don't actually seem to realise that we would have gone through to the final on away goals even if he hadn't scored that goal.

You could say the £40mil profit on Sterling and the £50 mil profit on Suarez is ample to cover up a shockingly **** bit of business <ok>

All clubs make serious **** ups from time to time, Utd aren't exactly exclusive to that either!!

You could argue that.

Or you could say that Liverpool having to sell their best players to cover all the money they lost signing bags of ****e like Downing, Balotelli, Keane, Aquilani and Carroll is the reason you haven't won the league for 25 years. Whereas we cunningly waited until we had a few titles in the bank to start throwing money down the drain.

But Barca may have scored in those last couple of minutes and put us out like in 09...the Torres goal guaranteed the final. And as someone who witnessed first hand the heartbreak of that last minute Barca goal in 09, I cheered the Torres goal like a mad man!!

Oh I did too yeah, it meant we were deffo in the final. Just that we still woulda gone through without it.
I remember that ****ing Iniesta goal in 09 aswell..............****!

Thats why I now have a much healthier Chemical addiction to prescription drugs, mainly Opioids and Opiates (Codeine, Tramadol etc). Much better
