Interesting stat about Rooney's goalscoring form (or lack of). He has scored just one goal away from Old Trafford in 2015 and that was in an FA Cup tie at Preston in February, and they were League One at the time. You have to go back until November 2014 for his previous away goal, in the victory against Arsenal and since then, he has earned £8million http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ahead-Club-Bruges-showdown.html#ixzz3jurwebgY But at least now we have that internationally renowned striker Fellani to line up against him - thank god for that...............
You've still had a decent start so not so much pressure on him but there has to come a time where he starts hitting the net or you're going to have to stick Fellani or Wilson in there, Hernandez maybe?
**** this no pressure ****, that fat slow ****face has royally screwed half the fantasy football playing world!!! Big fat twit. Let's be honest, he's a glorified midfielder. Except fat. Not that I'm bitter.
Being fair to Rooney, the style of play and midfield behind him haven't exactly been creative. Being fair to people who have eyes, I think the question is which receded faster, Wayne's hair or his talent... Sharpe in his teens and early twenties, and mostly been trading off that since. I wouldn't have him, and I support Newcastle. NEWCASTLE FFS. Here's hoping Man Utd sign an actual striker who is worth about 10.5 million on Fantasy Football
True! I have a theory that if a heavily impregnated, and almost completely dried out minke whale was left to ferment in sun on a football pitch long enough, even at the highest level of football, it would probably inadvertently score about 2/3 goals a season. No reason why Rooney can't scuff in a few if he stops wobbling about looking for the ball.
I think it is ingrained in him now after the previous two seasons that he has to go and get the ball in midfield otherwise he wouldn't get it as our midfield was crap. Now though, I would be happy for him to play no part in the approach play, just so long as he was banging them in.
