Many of our fans will remember our trip to Brighton when we were last in the Championship. We had a wonderful day out and we will try and replicate the same on our next visit on Saturday 12th September. The pub we used the last time has agreed to host us again with a bbq and great real ale. The landlord Martin is looking forward to seeing the Tigers fans again. The pub address is: Swan Inn Middle Street Falmer North East Sussex BN1 9PD
I guess despite the apparent early enthusiasm, the suggestion that the various supporter groups all pull together is still in its infancy in some quarters then.
Loser ends up on the BBQ. And with a name like "Lambo"... Let's just say we might want to take along some mint sauce.
Aye, it's only fair. I'll go through the accounts and remove all those posters with access to more than one. Back in a bit.
The account was actually set up (I think) by a mod, who sits on the HCST board. I will only be posting information, when Bernard has ok'd it with Cheshire Ben. As for the comment, it caused no offence and came as no surprise. You are quite welcome to come to the BBQ, OLM, I heard that you are partial to a bit of sausage when in Brighton.
I wont be able to make next weeks game at Brighton, but just to let some who have never been down there before, get yourselves down to Lewes. Its just after Falmer on the train. Loads of trains go to Lewes and also returning to Brighton. Trains stop at Falmer so you dont have any worries about getting to the ground. There are loads of real ale pubs in Lewes so there is a good choice. On past visits there a lot of the coaches go there so you will see a lot of the regular away supporters in Lewes.
You may also see a lot of the regular away supporters at Falmer, I don't mind people slating others for their opinion or views, but this is a poor show. Its Hull City supporters meeting up for a drink and food before a match, for heavens sake! Why not post the pub you would recommend others to go to? OSC members travel to away games from all over the country and regularly meet for drinks before the matches as do other groups. I would recommend Lewes as a good place to have a drink and the train service is great. The only down side is the queue to get on it coming back. that's why the bars at the stadium open for an hour after the game.
We spoke about it and one was set up, I was not sure if you had actually done it or just helped the person who did and that's why I put "I think". Whilst I have access, I did not set it up.
As he will not be there and you have declined the offer, it looks like I will plenty of sausage then!
Bars open after the game. Nothing like that in the City Of Culture. Get them out and moved on so the legions of police can relax.
