Well there you go. Not much of a **** up if this is working out for you. If you went to Canada, you'd be thinking 'what if' about the east.

Up to now it's been the Rabbitohs because of the Burgess brothers! Not sure how well that will go down in Melbourne!

Still young for NBA mate, what 23-24? Not any age really they are really hitting the ground 26-27 so who knows.

I love Joakim Noah as well but I genuinely think if Rose stayed fit he could be close to MVP again, might be biased of course. When he's on it he's unstoppable, even though 6 3 is almost an NBA midget!

Just have to worry that an injury is just around the corner, it's not a game for any kind of weakness of the knees and he's had so many problems here. The difference he makes between being a solid team that knows how to win and a team that is so fluid and good to watch is crazy!

Noah could be the best centre there is if he constantly used his aggression, he never will though cos he's part French. Ha.

If I was retired and my house was worth £250k I'd be fairly gutted to be honest.

With the money you mention, I'd probably stay here, Cheshire. So I can have the small things that matter, like United and family.

Give me a **** load more then I'd be off like a shot, across the Atlantic.

Funny thing mate, the only people I ever meet who 'hate America' have never been.

With money in the bank, it's the most incredible place. With mega money in the bank it could be beyond incredible.

It's so easy over there man, eating, drinking, finding something new to do. Just the sights you see going from place to place. Even something as simple as the drive from LA to Vegas, when you are looking at incredible mountain ranges and the contrasts within an hour or so drive, just a fantastic place.

Exactly mate, I've loved every place I've been to there. So much variety and that's what matters to me as I get bored of repetition. I'd pick a place where the Burqah was about as welcome as a kick in the bollocks and settle down there. South Beach Miami probably.

Internal flights cost **** all, $60 from LA to Vegas or Miami to Cancun for $100 return, you can actually go to awesome places just for a weekend!

No mate, not much at all. It'll only get less and less when that high speed underground to London gets the green light.

picked an average priced house and half a million in the bank because I thought that would be a lot more than most people will manage to achieve, I must be a pauper in comparison because id love to have that at retirement.

Comm, I did and I love it. I would prefer the East coast (Nova Scotia) but Alberta is where the jobs are. Will probably retire out east one day. The people and atmosphere are awesome. Still miss home and especially going to the match but as a consolation Canadian sports channels show around 5 games a weekend so I still get my fix.

West Coast for me every time mate, I do love Miami, but I love California, we drove from San Fran via Napa right down the coast, Monterrey, Pismo then onto LA and South of LA couple years back, best 2 weeks ever mate, just amazing.

I always feel like Florida is set up for the tourists whereas Cali is set up for the people who live there, gives you a more rounded set of things to do. I could live in Cali tomorrow, it's just got a more homely feel about it to me personally.

I've got mates out in Miami pal, one in Fort Lauderdale as well. I've not seen enough of the country to decide where I'd be to be honest, it would also depend on if I have kids as well. Cali has it's advantage, LA in particular, being within (American) spitting distance of The Holy Land!

My ex was brought up in Fort Lauderdale mate, nice place if a little sleepy. Beautiful coast there. Lauderdale again, very tourist focused because of the cruise ships etc but more of a real town than Orlando or Miami.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be unhappy living in Florida, not by any stretch.
