So all of this about not being able to attract players to Sunderland because of our location etc etc etc.
Assuming you were quite well off, say a £500,000 in the bank and a house already paid for worth £250,000. You didn't need to work because you had a good pension or whatever paying £3000 a month into your account, where would you live and why?

I would probably still be in or around Hampshire, maybe move down to Devon, weather is pretty good most of the time and i'm local to a lot of good golf clubs, An hour away from the New Forest and a little further to the coast at Bournemouth. Easy access to both Heathrow and Gatwick so no problems jetting off on holidays if I wanted.
Curious to see if any of you lot wold pack up and move away from the North East if you could?

    London or Melbourne most likely.

If I wanted somewhere a little quieter I'd look at Cheshire.

If I had everything I wanted then I'd move to the Northern Territory! Quiet, plenty of rain for the crops and cattle! Still in QLD! Would absolutely love to go to a game at the SOL! Mackems Galore Brother!!

I'd get out of the European Union. I like the thought of Canada or Austrailia. (weather isn't factor for me)

I'll go back to live in Marbella one day. I'm looking at buying over there for investment right now with the plan being it makes enough money to buy outright somewhere I want to live in 4-5 years.

I paid a huge deposit on place I'm in now and as such rent would be double the mortgage on it, and it would be an easy let as I've an unobstructed river view.

My issue is that any money I don't tie up, I spend. I'd need a hell of a lot more cash than £500k to see me through life!

I'd like to live in America for a period, maybe 6 months to a year. I do love America.

You need to be mega wealthy though to live anywhere you want to, and still have a good life.

I like the NBA mate, I'd probably live south of LA, Long Beach or similar, so I could watch Galaxy, and either Lakers or Clippers.

2.5 hours to Vegas, hour flight to San Fran and Napa Valley. Decent. You wouldn't wanna live in LA but there's beaut places around it and it's a good city to have easy access to when needed.

Just started watching NFL recently still trying to decide if I like it or not mate. NBA wise always been Bulls, started years back with a wooly hat and kept it up as I got into the game more. Was the back end of the great team with Jordan and Rodman, obviously right now I love Derrick Rose, sitting here right now in a Bulls Rose vest, haha.

Bulls will be strong this season, way stronger than last year, but Warriors are such an all round team I don't see anyone beating them for a couple years.

I love the instant nature of NBA, the at the buzzer wins etc, I've been to a Nets game in New York and we got to a Clippers game last year, the atmosphere and all round entertainment is fantastic.
