Surely if this disease took hold and only manifested when you died then regardless of whether the zombies got you or not everyone would end up as a zombie?
The wild spreading disease type story line (eg 24hrs later) is a better concept than zombies if you want it to be more realistic in both how the situation arose and the bad guys catching the good etc.
Never been a fan of the walking dead. If you want to see how society breaks down when law and order fades and the structure is taken away be my guest. To throw the zombies i'm just not a fan of.
so.. we'd set up something like the old film logan's run where people would be taken at a certain age, killed and cremated immediately to control it. simple enough lads.. we all carry guns cos zombies can't so if you shoot someone you have to shoot them in the head or you are in trouble.. if there's a car crash you have to shoot people who are in the cars in the head if they look dead etc etc. This really doesn't seem the worst plague we would worry about. If you told me you'll turn eventually i'm meh... you tell me i'm going to beleed out the ass and die horrible within 2 weeks ok i'll sit up and take note. but.... HOW THE **** DID ANYONE ****ING SURVIVE THEN TO MAKE YOUR ZOMBIE SHOW
How many shows are ther eon this topic. lets see. Dark angel? Resistance? falling skies? the last ship? theres prob 50 if you guys list them.
Never heard of any of those. Except Dark Angel, wasnt that with Jessica Alba, I don't remember any Zombies, or am I thinking of something else?
I'm talking post apocalyptic world. thats what you guys are on about.. not about the zombies its about peoepl trying to survive Dark angel was some mysterious em pulse knocking out systems. last ship is god awful and on sky.. you must have seen t no? some mysterious disease kills everyone but the crew of a single us destroyer... woeful show. falling skies is one about alien invasion and surviving its not a new them. others are survivors dominion the tribe (kids show) whats the one gabriel? i dunno or classics like battlestar galactica.. mad max is a classic movie on this theme planet of the apes is too. i am legend waterworld (****) the postman (****) terminator the omega man 28 days later
here.... if you are going to claim that 4 hour dull as dishwater piece of turd is any good you want taking out and shooting.
hehe I actually quite liked Waterworld to be honest. It didn't deserve any where near the amount of flack it got. Its not a classic, but it certainly wasn't ****. Enjoyable enough. Think it was just because it cost so much money, but I liked it. Dennis Hopper is a great bad guy.
and yes about half way through i thought hmmm he's on the wind up here.. must be... but i posted anyway.
It got over hyped before its release because it was made using the highest ever budget. Take that pre-release attention away and it would have been considered good.
It would drain the life out of even one of your walking ****ing dead.... the postman was worse though...
The post man WAS ****, I have to agree on that one. Most of what Costner does is pretty ****e. I liked Waterworld though, and JFK was very good. Robin Hood, The Postman, Field of Dreams, The Bodyguard, all pretty ****.
