He was very disappointed about Celtic exiting the CL...I like to see that a player cares. Their manager making noises we are all familiar with: don't have to sell, good player, under contract. Virgil saying little...up to board etc, but he couldn't get passed his disappointment....hardly the time to talk about such matter. P.s. I will sulk for a very long time if we don't sign him.
So if both of these stories are right, our deal for VVD will make a decent dent in offsetting Celtic's losses for failing to qualify for the CL. Also some interesting figures about making money from the Europa... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34054771
I thought my lets go fly a kite version had already been declared the best thing on the internet. I challenge someone to come up with a song to the tune of Chim Chim Cheroo or Me Ole Bamboo. Just to keep the Dick Van Dyke link going.
Well obviously use of that tune was genius. I bow to your excellence (still think you could have worked a bit more on the lyrics)
Did you watch the match last night? It's left me worried. He wasn't impressive, quite the opposite, he was run ragged and looked way out his defensive comfort zone.
Same happened with Wanyama when he was at Celtic and in our case Clyne when they made up their minds to leave. Both looked like they couldn't be arsed.
I'd say he didn't want to hurt himself and screw up a move south myself.....or he did it just to make Laurab feel justified in her opinions
