Last night's excitement may prove to be a blessing in disguise. We don't want a player with that attitude if true and he isn't irreplaceable. If it frees up a berth and funds to get 1-2 strikers that AN wants, that's no bad thing.
On the positive side, at least he showed som passion, but I do not think he is a prem quality player.
Hi bors, Have read our manager's remarks regarding Grabban and agree with his decision to keep it under wraps until another team meets our valuation and only then will the matter be considered. If it was Bournemouth's intention to unsettle the player then it has succeeded. AN should now announce publicly what figure Norwich have set on the player to test if Bournemouth's intention are in earnest. The valuation figure is what the player is worth to Norwich, Whether that figure is correct taking into consideration Grabban's unprofessional attitude given he went absent without cause from selected team duty is of no consequence. He is as AN has said an essential part of the team squad. Remains to be seen if AN now wants him in that squad. Norwich have proven that they are capable of keeping a player on the books even if that player does not figure in the manager's plans as viz when Lappin was bypassed for team duty. He came back from out of the cold and made an invaluable contribution to our efforts. But then Lappin didn't throw his dummy out of the pram.
Yep. It is monumentally stupid behaviour from Grabban. It makes him a laughing stock, it doesn't impress anybody and it drags the people who pay him quite a lot of money into the public view in a way they really don't want to be. Just hand in a transfer request you complete moron.
Ha! That's seriously weird you would choose this quote - this morning I looked at the weather and said "so foul and fair a day I have not seen"!?!
£14m price tag on Afobe to deter 'suitors' http://www.sportsvibe.co.uk/news/fo...f-canaries-with-benik-afobe-valuation-42291/? Thing is, if we've already offered (an alleged) £8m and Bournemouth are minted enough (they clearly are to pay £8m for Mings, a mid-table Championship defender ), then if we can offload Odemwingie part 2 to them for £5m, that's approximately the figure Wolves are looking for. Et voilà! Fait accompli! Though after last night's shenanigans, it's doubtful they'd want the petulant little arsehole back. Oh well, back to le drawing board
So which Shakespearean character is Grabban? Given he has created a Tempest my money is on Caliban rather than Prospero - grab ban was certainly no magician!
Well, if I were Alex Neil he'd be Bottom of my list when it came to selecting a squad for the coming weekend match.
I'm guessing he may well be on latrine duty as and when he lets back rather than in the squad unless he gets a lift on the bus to drop him off at Bournemouth on the way. If we want the transfer to go through I reckon we'd need to drive him down there as he'd be bound to miss the turning.
I'd be ****ting it knowing you're about to be on the end of a double barrelled shotgun from the Nasty Bros Can imagine AN & McNally being gangster brothers lol
Don't forget McAvoy: Hello, Lewis, my name is Frankie - do you remember me please log in to view this image
Not sure, but we could well see a "liver of blaspheming Lew" nailed to the dressing room wall when / if he does materialise again!
