    James Pearce has written a piece about Balotelli's year at Liverpool.

    Rodgers genuinely believed he could change him.
    Balotelli was last in first out at training.
    Balotelli once faked injury to buy an IPhone 6.
    He was popular among team mates, but also a clown.
    He would try and bring guests to training who would loiter around.
    He did not know who Joe Allen was after months of them being team mates.

    He's bloody right though. WTF did we buy him for? Who DIDN'T anticipate it being a disaster?
    I feel sorry for the bloke, in a way. Ok, he's a lousy professional and overpaid dick, but even at his best he just didn't fit into any sort of plan we may have had. I'll say it again - £16m wasn't some trivial punt we could afford to just **** off. At the time we could have had Shaqiri or Berahinho for that price, and either of them would have been by far a better bet.

    Heads should ****ing roll in that 'committee' if truth be told.
