DTLW posted it up earlier this evening. It's shocking and he should not be allowed a transfer for 6-12 months.

 

It's been pissing down with rain all day; it shouldn't be called the summer transfer window. In fact, they should only be allowed to do deals when it is sunny in June and July.

A stupid beard is a stupid beard whatever the reason. Never understood why any almighty being would care what you wear, look like or eat and drink. I'd be more concerned about behaviour if I was God. If I was God....then you'd all be in trouble...though Saints would win the title every season.

As are Robin Van Persie, Yaya Toure, Mezut Ozil etc. but they don't have a beard. I know a few, all of whom don't have any beard at all. Or there are others, with a full beard. So am afraid it still goes into Room 101 for me.

I think teams should start to treat players who strike and force a move like the untrustworthy weasels they are, i.e. cancel their pursuit of them when there is a sniff of it. Sometimes rarely there is a good reason that could be accepted but in most cases teams should be thinking, if they have done it to a previous club then they could do it to us. I think it says something about a person.

I'm aware there are a couple of players we wouldn't have signed but I think it would be worth the sacrifice to make players play out the contract they have signed in good faith.

Never going to happen - human nature to be flattered that someone is refusing to play for someone else because they want to come to you. If someone we all wanted was doing it to another club to force a move to Saints, I think we'd probably all love it too. Think of the player you would most like at Saints - someone we'd realistically be able to get at the very boundaries of our ability and budget/wage structure. Imaging the coup! Now imagine it looks off, but the player suddenly starts refusing to play for the club he's currently at, as he wants to play for Saints so much. Add in that he might currently play for Liverpool or Spurs!

Tell me you wouldn't welcome him with open arms!
