    i reckon he will be similar to rooney with his scoring stats, nothing spectacular but consistent, which to be fair we could do with, now if we could keep sturridge fit for a season we may stand half a chance to achieve something lol

    I think all teams need a striker that will pretty much guarantee you 15 goals a year (Benteke). You then hope you have a couple of wide players chip in with around 15 (Coutinho/Firmino/Ibe/) and a 2 midfielders with another 10 (Lallana/Hendo/Milner). That's 40-5 goals before you add a few from defenders and from other sub players like Ings/Origi.

    Obviously not that simple but there is goals in the team. What's important is keeping clean sheets. We've only scored 2 goals but got 7 points because we've conceded 0. If we can only concede around 30 goals that gives us a much better chance of picking up enough points without being the heavy scorers from 2 years ago.

    Yeah. If I'm watching on a stream I exit this and all other tabs. I never let anything else get in the way of the game. I can't stand the pre-match, half-time and post match analysis and only ever watch if there was something controversial I want clearing up.

    Same goes for photographing or videoing (is that a real word?) an event. For me, being there is the thing- not watching a crap recording of it afterwards.

    Seeing how quickly Coutinho and Benteke have got an understanding, if they both stay fit I wouldnt be suroirsed to see the pair score 30-40 goals this season.

    Sturridge is the 2nd best striker in the league

    He is now completely healed

    If Aguero gets injured Sturridge is on to be top scorer this season

    Certainly changed it against Bournemouth, they battered you once he came on. Against Stoke the formation change was the game changer.
