Hmm, how would Ashley, the greedy, billionaire tightwad go about punishing wrongdoers?

It's obviously going to be a heft fine, wouldn't want to ban them because that would prevent them buying tickets. Although by the look of the neanderthals who were taking part they'd probably still buy tickets every game for a year only to get turned away at the gate.

Dont try that at the stadium of light or all hell will break loose !, and barton will most likely cop it first for what he did to Etuhu and that has not been forgot.

That, and some of the older fans could suffer health problems after running on the pitch to celebrate every goal the Ameobis score. <ok>

In keeping with the theme this forum tends to have... how about just cutting their private parts off?

Because that would leave them with some very noticeable facial scarring.

No not near the front AB, but I was concerned as to how the young kids were able to obtain bottles, I'm just pleased none were thrown. Some boys to the left of me had brought their lager onto the terrace, they sat smoking and drinking then went to the front. Where were you, you weren't behind me, I'm not on your photos. <whistle>

Having let things calm down, I have now decided that people running on the pitch was ****ing hilarious. I have always wanted to see it happen after that chant, and it did! I don't condone the fighters though, they should and will be banned. Pretty much everyone who was on the train found it hilarious to be fair, but all agreed the fighting was wrong.

Did you by any chance get on the train that was delayed from Edinburgh? The first class carriage stopped in front of us, some poor guy looked out the window and his jaw dropped when he saw the fans, it was so funny watching him scrambling about trying to put his laptop away before anyone entered the carriage. Everbody was laughing at him.

The kids were too young to have been able to purchase lager in the first place and they wouldn't normally have been able to take it beyond the corridor.

I was in Block 29, Row 21. Most of the people there were just your normal football fans and all were disgusted with the behaviour of the little wasters. Lets hope they get identified and are banned from SJP, we just don't need baggage like that.

If I'd known where you were I'd have made a point of getting you on one of the pics.

This. But no fans of other teams seem to find the funny side, they think we were just terrorising a non-league team cause we scored a goal, they don't understand the rarity of the achievement!

A bit childish, but people talking about points deductions are going OTT in my opinion. Both clubs get fined and the culprits who were fighting get life banned then that would be fair to me.

I agree that it was funny at first but they stayed on the pitch too long and Darlington fans game on the pitch which caused trouble. Then some Darlington fans got to the Newcastle end and all the fighting (which was a disgrace) started. If they ran on the pitch after the goal and then returned to the stands within a minute I would have saw the funny side a laughed it off.

As for the points deduction talk, personally I think thats a bit daft, it wasn't a EPL game it was a meaningless friendly. Dishing out bans to the trouble makers amongst the fans is all thats needed. If there was more than 10 stewards and a line of police then none of this would of happened.

I don't see what's wrong with having a few hundred people having a laugh in a meaningless game running on a pitch for literally 30 seconds or so, doing a little jig or whatever then walkin back to their seats. If everyone had done this, there'd be no problem but there's them pillocks who dress like hooligans from the 80s that use opportunities like that to cause trouble and unfortunately it happened here :\

And to the person who neg-repped me saying 'rarity?' - I meant the rarity of Sammy Ameobi scoring a goal. Christ, some people need to chill out!
