I've seen one or two episodes after the first series, and they really didn't do anything for me at all. The only thing I've enjoyed from The Walking Dead really is the video games, they're superb.
Walking dead gets much better but is t is the same thing over and over... Walk around looking for place to live, find it, settle, encounter weirdos who want to **** you over, kill weirdos, leaving a few dead behind, repeat.
The Walking Dead is at its best where the Governer is involved in it, don't want to give spoilers other than that. This spin-off is on some ****ty BT channel that nobody has so looks like i will be torrenting it, sounds like a decent idea as some of the characters in the Walking Dead are annoying even if there are a lot of decent episodes
My friends all love the Walking Dead, but it is just SO SLOW! I've stuck with it regardless, it has got better...
Most of the characters in it are original I believe. If you enjoy the show, you really should play the games. Like I said, I've seen one or two later episodes, but it never really got me back into it. I may go back in the future, but don't count on it. The games on the other hand, I'll keep on playing.
I watched the first episode of ZNation but it's just so cheap. There were two semi famous guys in it, one of which didn't make it till the last advert break and the other guy's part was him sitting at a computer, filmed in about 4 minutes. I suppose we've been spoiled by the production values of TWD, I guess the only way to make a show as good would be to have the same guys make it, on the same network, with a similar budget. Wait a minute...
In the comics it gets a lot better after the current point in the TV series. Hopefully, the next season will see the introduction of Negan who is the next major bad guy they encounter. I expect them to do as bad a job with him as they did with the Governor though.
A pilot is a pilot. The full budget isn't in place. I watched all of series one. I thought it was good. It doesn't take itself too seriously. I'm looking forward to the next series.
Fair enough. To me, it seems more sensible to spend the budget on talented writers and better cameras rather than spunking it on 'names'.
The governor is truly horrific in the comic - but I still liked the tv version. I just accept it's going to be different and enjoy both.
Erm... The Walking Dead. They are episodic games. If you have Steam, you should be able to find them on there easily.
Unfortunately I ran out of steam many years ago. It looks like many of our players have run out of steam too! Watt?
