Updated squad list on Chelsea's official website has seen number 6 been removed from Baba Rahman.

He was 17 at first and vacated it for Pedro, moving to no 6.

Now he has moved to no 3.

Who is the no 6 shirt for???

PS Stones wears no 6 at Everton, Poggers used to be no 6 and has moved to no 10 at the bianconeri

Doubt it means anything other than left backs are usually number 3!

I know. Silly that they gave him no 17 and no 6 first though. Still, livens up a wet afternoon

I'm looking forward to the window shutting actually. If we had won 3 games on the bounce with goals galore and clean sheets nobody would be linked with us.

Have to say I'm a little surprised. Wonder if the form of our defence so far has made him think he might get more game time than may have been anticipated 2 weeks ago?

Another 5 million and it'll probably get done.

Will Everton turn it down like WBA have with Berahino? with 4 years on his contract they can afford to wait.

Aye, and it's a pretty bad deal for them because of still paying off the Lukaku fee as well as the 15% Barnsley clause. I imagine they will sell though. They didn't sell Baines to United, but look at their track record this late in the window:

    Rooney - August 27th
    Arteta - August 31st
    Lescott - August 11th
    Fellaini - September 2nd
    Stones - August 25th?

They often break when the money comes in. I reckon he will be a Chelsea player. Didn't think so until the transfer requested.

No.6 shirt will go to whoever our new centre back is. Will be Stones or Garay.

Think they will sell Stones, if they dont we will get in someone else and Stones value will drop as his contract runs down. The 40 mill we offered is at least 15 over the top anyway. Hope our assesment of Stones is better than those of Cuadrado, Salah, Luis, Marin,Torres, Shevchenko, De Bruyn, Moses.....................

read that Marty is holding out for 45M Pounds. That is atleast double the value for the kid.
That tag isn't going to help him at all. too much pressure. won't be thrilled to get him at that price.

Agreed. That's far too much money given how inexperienced he is.

30-35 seems about right in the current market allowing for a premium because he is English. Sterling seemed expensive at nearly 50 million but he's played a lot more games, an established international and attackers are normally more expensive.

Still hoping this will go through, but I'm not holding my breath. If we go into the season without a new CB and CM I don't hold high hopes so I hope the board can get something together

According to the rags (I know, I know, they are full of ****), we had agreed a deal with Juve for Pogba a week ago, since then **** all, no update at all on BBC, SSN or the CFC site. Why do they talk utter ****e.
If a deal had been agreed a week ago, he would have been over here having his medical by now <doh>

I really don't know why they write this **** based on hear'say and gossip. No journalistic integrity whatsoever.
