On goal is in form this season to be fair. I wonder what he's worth in the current market?

YAYYYYYYYY we led the table for 128 days, LOL, and did we end the season on top of the table? My goodness, it's like you write nonsense and can't even grasp that what you write is not even in your favour.

That's all you have, you and your stupid stats.

But is it? Why are we expected to be challengers, when our form-play shows we aren't, and in many previous seasons including last, we were never challengers, so if we can be considered challengers, why not Spurs?

Truth of the matter is that we're just a top 4 side who can time-time win a cup, that's what the last 10 years have shown, and this year has started in pretty much same fashion....However the wengerites keep trying to fool everybody every year saying 'this year will be different you will see'.

Just stay tuned to this board, eventually wengerites will concede we are not challengers, and will say we need to concentrate on finishing top 4, and use that to build momentum for next year, it's pretty much the same BS they have been saying for the last 5 years.

If we say City are going to be champions (on form play), who do you see as challengers at present because after the first 3 games I would be looking at Leicester and Swansea.

Come Christmas you may well be spot on but at this point you seem to be overreacting to a poor start, I can see why you feel that way after a long period without anything but 2 FA Cups in a row would make me a happier fan and willing to see what happens next.

Ill even say it now, even if we were to sign two top players before the window closes, I still would not consider us contenders. It's become painfully obvious that this is a managerial issue, as it's always been.

Yesterday was a fine example of that, Wenger persisting with failed tactics, playing too many central midfielders, and playing one of those out wide, instead of playing a proper winger in OXO who has been our best player so far. And then stubbornly keeping Chambers on when he was a liability.

Every year Wenger is supposed to prove us the doubters wrong, and every year it's the same story, time for Wengerites to stop clinging to their nonsense.

I'm not calling for Wenger's head, he's here for the next 2 years, but that's my stance on him, he will not be taking us to the top. Top 4 finishes and possible cup wins? Yeah for sure, he's your man for that.

Teams like Leicester Swansea, you always have these teams who start very good, and then just fade....However with big teams, it's different, you can't compare the 2.

Also I'm not saying City will be champions, what I am saying is we Arsenal will certainly not. The first 3 games for us are not 3 games only, but rather something we have all seen before, all the same problems.

Last season when we had a slow start, people like me were said to be 'overreacting', trust me, just give it a few months and all will be clear again, that we're just fighting for top 4.

I have concluded that if the window closes and Wenger doesn't buy a DM and a ST, then We need to realise we as a club have no intention whatsoever to win the league or Champions League. We are content with being in the CL and hoping for a cup run. All about the £$. This will be very sad. My enthusiasm for the club will definitely be shot to bits!

I gave the club the benefit of doubt with the "money" thing. Signing Ozil, got me hyped again. We got Sanchez. Things were looking up. But still Wenger continued to show tactical ineptitude on the pitch. There is no excuse anymore. Clubs like liverpool, even though they blow their money on crap half the time, you can see they are trying to fix problems. But we appear too arrogant to fix glaring gaps in the squad.

TBH I think we have already shown that consistently in many summer transfer periods gone by before. Last year was a prime example, we were crying out for a DMF and at least another world class striker, and what did we do? We didn't sign any DMF and we saw how bad that cost us until Coq came into the side, and when it came to a striker, we bought a Manunited reject in Wellbeck, who ended up scoring 3 or 4 league goals for us.

Does any of that sound like ambition for a team that geniuenely wants to challenge for the UCL and EPL?

The year before that again we were crying out for a world class DMF, we ended up signing Flamini on a free, who just happened to be training with us to reach fitness so he could find a club to play for.

It's become the pattern now though, make one mega blockbuster signing to put the wool over the fans' eyes that yeah we're showing intent, when in reality, we need far more than just one big money transfer move.

The more you talk the more of an idiot you sound. You've made my point for me. I brought up the 128 days as myself and others were saying it was too early to get carried away when we were doing well early on, the same as we are saying it's too early to throw in the towel now. The point being it doesn't matter how we are playing, 3 games in is far too early to have an idea of how the season will play out.

If you're too stupid to understand what I'm saying to you please don't bother replying :)

You keep spouting the same rubbish as you did last year when we had a slow start, you always cling to an excuse, now it's "we're still very early' but when the same rubbish continues until November, you will be saying yeah we can't do it now bla bla bla we should cement 4th spot.

Nothing from our first 3 games indicates we are challengers, you're just being wilfully blind, all the same old problems remain, but somehow there will be a miracle and it's all going to get sorted eventually and we will challenge, yeah you can deluded yourself into thinking that since it's all you and the other wengerites have.

Eventually as the months go, it will be me who is proven right, as I usually am, and you looking like the deluded ****ing idiot that you are, it happens every year inspite of you not liking what I say, but hey, you keep being a blind ****ing idiot with your head up Wenger's ass, and Ill keep hoping for the best for Arsenal, yes ARSENAL, unlike muppets like you who are akin to blind cult followers with your cult leader being Wenger who can never do no wrong. Please do **** off when Wenger leaves.

If we make no more signings, is it really too early to know how the season will pan out? Hoping something different will happen as opposed to what has happened every season for the last god knows many?

Wenger survives year after year on the naive hope that many Arsenal supporters have (and board have too clearly) that things will be different when every year they never are.

Every manager wishes they had as cushty a number as Wenger with no accountability for stagnation.

But I'm sure we'll come close to, or even go all the way, in a minor cup... And go on a 6 month run better than anyone else in the league to finish 3rd and all the hope will be renewed for next year in time for Wenger to say no-one is available to sign simultaneous to other clubs signing players left right and centre.
