While we're quoting people... PRESS RELEASE FROM THE HULL CITY OFFICIAL SUPPORTERS CLUB (HCOSC) Tuesday, May 12th, 2015 Ballot result Following previous Press Releases, the Hull City Official Supporters Club (HCOSC) have sent their submission on Hull City’s request to change its playing name to Hull Tigers to the Football Association (FA). We included In this submission the results from the ballot that was carried out last week. All members received a ballot form by post and had the opportunity to vote by post, e mail or a hand in procedure. The result of the vote is as follows: 704 Members voted No to Hull Tigers 459 Yes to Hull Tigers 240 Spoilt Votes 5 Total 704 Our full submission to the FA will be available to all when we have agreement to do so. Bernard Noble Press Officer on behalf of the Directors HCOSC As one of the OSC directors TOM, would you care to explain why we're still waiting for the full submission to be released?
I do not have the time at the moment, not hiding, just meetings to attend. I expect to be unavailable for most of the day and will respond later.
Could be worth getting the popcorn out to see if Fez posts a long winded criticism of another of his own posts before he realises.
I see, yes! Or someone could have cut and paste Not surprised you've popped up with a worthless comment. It wasn't about realising, it was about the honesty of the poster. But I do not expect you to appreciate that quality as you do drift from time to time. have you invented any more wheels lately?
Come on, even you must realise it's as funny as **** that you criticised a post of your own because you thought it was Tom's. Laugh with the rest of us and move on. You're not really improving things by trying to chuck mud to mask your **** up.
This was my original response - where did I do anything other than give answers and ask a few questions in return? I think TOM tried to do a Sir Cheshire Ben and failed miserably, as he did it over a series of posts and failed to be honest about their context. There was no ****-up, as you put it, all of my points are subject to conversation and topic timeline, as are anyone's, I've shown that and I am happy to move on. You seem to be speaking for everyone again.
As highlighted until there is an agreement to for the statement to be released it will not be made available. I have asked the question before and the answer was as it is above. If you wish to contact HCOSC through proper channels the address is available on the web site and ask the question, that is up to you. I post on here generally as an individual and not as a representative of the OSC. I personally would have liked to have the submission published, but until it is agreed then it will not. No excuses from me, I will not be pushing for the release of the submission for two reasons. 1/ I personally do not think that there is any merit in its release 2/ I really think that issues such as this are part of the past, and I am looking forward not back.
HCST seem to be expected to answer absolutely everything asked of them, even about things posted by individuals on their personal Twitter accounts, yet the OSC won't let their members know what they submitted to the FA in their name, despite having promised that they would. I'll not be contacting the OSC, as I'm not an OSC member, but I do think it's disgraceful that they refuse to let their members know what their submission included.
Sounds like there was no intention of ever publishing the submission to me. One can only speculate as to why, but I have to say it seems a little suspicious.
Though we didn't release the minutes of that meeting, we did tell people what happened in it and now it's all done and dusted there'd be no issue with them being released. We certainly didn't speak on behalf of our members and then refuse to tell them what we said. Anyway, I'm not your problem, it's your members that you should be concerned about.
