I reckon he has psychological issues mate. Many adopted kids have issues and he grew up in fairly racist Italy too didn't he?

Throw in that lifestyle of a pro footballer into the mix and less accountability and there you have it

Which is why I see him as a lost child. He's had a life of struggling to fit in ... it continues ....

Also doesn't help when your manager and captain publicly berate you for no reason either.

    no reason?

    c'mon jimmy...

c'mon... his actions behind the scenes have leaked enough out to say they were suitbaly unimpressed by him to not feel the need to be his mate. etc.

His actions were leaked out a couple of weeks ago. Why weren't they reported at the time. Something just seems fishy to me.

But he's gone now (at least on loan). I for one will wish him well.

cos you don't want to believe them.

I heard many of those things last jan....

I am very confident a lot of people are still not saying everything until he really goes.

I'm absolutely sure his prior clubs all were very glad he left... thats a lot of proefessional staff compared to just you it seems.

Milan must be desperate I reckon.

  9. I'd say he was only interested in playing professional football because he wanted the rich lifestyle and he got it very early in his career so no longer gives a ****. So, in short, yes.

  10. Nor does it help when you refuse to do anything but walk on a professional football pitch whilst being paid millions to perform. No reason indeed <laugh>

  11. There is a reason his transfer fees keep getting lower...

    True.

I think he will never get to the heights he should have or could have - which is down to himself - at least his 'issues' don't see him suspended for 8 games at a time <laugh>

I don't believe that for a second. His adoptive family are very wealthy and had he not gone into football he would probably be a millionaire 'playboy' now messing about on the family yacht. He was going to be wealthy either way, he's just chosen to stop trying in his football career for some reason!

  14. Didn't know he was from a wealthy family so fair enough, I'll take that back. Maybe that's is why then? Maybe he had everything he wanted when he was a child so was spolit and continues to act like a spoilt brat?

just to correct you Jb as jimm yis a total lost cause..... the manager, captain and everyone else had plenty of reason to give this guy a public dressing down.

He was asked to work harder and knucke down but instead he took to his sick bed had hired a perosnal slave

He doesn't even qualify as good enough for one now!! It's a loan not a transfer

    Anyway ...

When we bought this fecker most everybody was saying, pundits and fans, that he was a gamble but a gamble worth taking

If he became a success then it's a stroke of genius

If he flops it's no biggy as it's not a massive amount of money

Where do we stand now ??

Carragher is saying it was a 'major mistake' which has turned out to be true, but this was wrapped up in that original decent gamble right ??

I think that's more likely. You see it over and over again that kids like Suarez, for example, raised poor have a desire that never goes away. Mario's the opposite, his talent probably took him by surprise, he accomplished a lot as a kid in football but the desire doesn't seem to still be there.

Don't know anything about the personal slave but hasn't Defoe just put out an ad for a 24/7 personal assistant? There's probably loads of players have them.
As for public dressing downs and lone training, it's just wrong <ok>

no its not... i suggest you read his malarchy and see why the manager broke ranks...

as for defoe that says it all about him.

A player is a guy who has kits men and cooks ready to serve them and all they need do is carry their boots.

are we really serious... if they have such a hanger on they really should be immediately sold.

finally training alone... he is damned lucky he was let into the ground at all. he was told in may like a man he was not going to play this year and so was enrique and borini... they all showed their mettle by turning down moves to actually play and whining.
