How many times have yoonited finished above them since Fergie left despite doing "a job on them"

Because Arsenal are open at the back. We struggle to break down packed defences like Arsenal did tonight by trying to pass through them <ok>

So you'd match their work rate.. their press and pace cos lfc struggled to get it and keep it.

Then you'd score about 6 just cos.... got it.

It may be me being biased as I fail to see the "amazing player" that many Liverpool supporters do (not aimed at you), I just see a league standard midfielder who (at 21) shows nothing more than any other of his age.

To answer your question in reverse, we have finished below them a total of two times <ok>

Unfortunately 18 other teams got involved :(

Think most of us would have taken that result before the game.

But after watching it we should have taken a lead into the second half and on that evidence would have successfully defended it.

Then Arsenal just battered us in the second. We defended quite resiliently but we were totally swamped for most of it and created barely anything. All our efforts on goal were speculative and very frustrating.

Arsenal haven't got a striker and that was our saviour in the end as they had quite a few openings and good chances at goal. But you could say the same about us as we failed to score a single goal.

So a good but also bad result for us really.

Real positives for me were Gomez, what a buy he looks like right now. Let's hope he keeps it up

Can looks very good now we've finally moved him forward to where he's happiest

Mignolet was really good and made some critical saves, plus we kept a clean sheet so good for confidence

Lovren looks... not **** anymore, don't get me wrong he's still at skid mark or wet fart level, but he's not **** at the moment

Firmino has not impressed me at all so far, ok we've not seen a great deal of him, I dunno if he's not fit, still adjusting to the league or what

    Still UNBEATEN though lads

It's ok, from the last 3 weeks showing, there's nothing to fear from United either <ok>

You mancs need to not get your last successful manager mixed up with the two you've had since that ain't won a major trophy between them despite spending more in 2 and a bit seasons more than Fergie did in 10 years.<whistle>

Or imagine what'll happen when the opposition don't scare for you! Oh wait... no need, because it happened when you drew 0-0 with Newcastle <whistle>

    Giroud is under rated..
    ..

No seriously he is. It's only when the title is the goal that the issue arises

On this evidence the only team motoring and well above everyone else is City. City would have brushed aside this poor Arsenal side easily 4 or 5 nil.

We may well be unbeaten with 7 points but let's remember that we were gifted a goal ( now officially declared a mistake by the EPL) against plucky Bournemouth and Arsenal were really poor tonight with a very dodgy defence.

Sorry to put a dose of realism amongst the euphoria. We haven't met a good team yet.
