If honest, good goal taken off the books for Arsenal, other than that and Giroud's chance in the second half think we did well to restrict Arsenal to a few attempts outside of the box..
Nice to have some decent FBs for a change!
Gomez, 18.. give over!! He'll make mistakes, was sloppy a few times today but given time, hopefully he'll reduce them and only get better!

Sanchez ripped into us but once giroud was gone we were ok.

Ok:

- He was so comfortable and assured on the ball

- Apart from once that I can think of, he always makes the right decision, e.g. Should I drive in to the space, should I make the first touch pass, should I cut back and play it simple.

- He is 21 years old and is the calmest guy on the pitch, telling others where to be, when to slow down etc.

- He was great defensively to, really good positioning at times, and again very vocal and natural organisational skills.


You make me wonder whether I'm just being biased but I think he's a class act, and i can't stress he's age enough!!

Yep same thing you said when Moyes beat them. And last season under Van Gaal. That's why it's called doing a job on them.

Their defence was worse than anything we've faced so far. Worse than Brugge and you couldnt break it. We showed last week we would have. And we love playing Arsenal.
