I think you're just jealous of Can's good looks.. you always bash him when he's a very good midfielder. Get's up and down, good power and decent with the ball

Whichever 3 we pick, Can has to start.

 

No chance - worked incredibly hard in the middle and he takes the ball and drives the team forward. Supports the defence and the attack.

Get a specialist DM in to let him and Hendo/Milner flourish.

I'm not having a go at Firmino because I think it's obvious the quality's there, but for me, today answered all of those who've been questioning why he hasn't been starting. He's a little off the pace of the PL yet, wanting a bit more time on the ball than he's likely to be given in most games. I think Rodgers has been correct to bring him in slowly.

 

Not bashing him - he's improved and played well. Skrtel was worse.

 

Happy with a point. And deserved on balance of play. Worrying how our attack disintegrated second half though. Ibe looked terrible. Our defence definitely looks more solid and having two good defenders in clyne and Gomez is definitely s contributing factor

 

I love Lucas in there. I like Can but thought he was a bit lazy at times. Milner had his best game for us so far. Hendo along with those three gives us great options.

If Lucas leaves, we have to replace him.

 

Haven't even touched on Benteke - seriously good player!

You are plain wrong. Bayern and leverkusen position tells customers he will play dcm and Rodgers calls him a controlling midfielder.

 

I seen him jog up behind a man who was asleep on the ball and take it off him, I seen him run 40 yards into space with the ball then pass it 3 yards to the man he was running to putting him under pressure, I saw many poor passes and a lot of jogging side to side waving his arms.
What did I miss?

Absolutely.. still played better than Ibe has and shown glimpses.

Nice to see him start, hopefully start again next week and work towards 90 minutes. Only way he'll get up to the pace of the game is by playing

 

He had a half decent first half but was anonynous after that.

 

I'm with you on Skrtel 99% of the time.. but today he was very good.

Can't fault any of our defenders.
