    Cheers, AH. :)

    It wasn't a hernia, no. More a blockage-cum(!)-knot.

    It's all good now. :emoticon-0141-whew:

Sounds very grim Ponders, glad you're now on the mend!

If it was a French hospital you were in then I look forward to a Trip Advisor type review!

Poyet to the franchise on loan.

    He's better than that.

Not now he's not. He's had over a year without first-team football, and his confidence must have taken a dent, whatever he says about being happy at Wham. To be in this position in his second season is not what he would have expected, however wealthy he may be.

Sometimes a manager doesn't fancy you and that seems to be the case with Bilic and Poyet. I think that Poyet is a decent player, he likes tackling and passing it square, but would we have all the hype if his Dad wasn't an ex footballer and his name was Smith?

Hype? What hype? He was our POTY despite only playing 20 games(I voted for him) and the reason I banged on about him before SCP gave him his chance was because of his obvious ability. Now he's taken a knock let's see how he recovers. I always keep an eye on ex- Charlton players, so do most of us I guess.

I didn't rate him as highly as you Forest. Does the destructive side of the job well, passes safely. He did well when coming into the side but the POTY was more a comment on how poor the other players were. Let me put it this way he is no Glenn Hoddle. I was sorry to lose him but I was a hundred times more Sorry to lose Joe Gomez who will go on to become a regular in the England team. I can't see Poyet being anywhere near the Uruguay, or England team.

I know you are the protecter of all things that come out of the Academy but I am entitled to my opinion as you are yours.

By voting for him instead of Wilson, the rightful winner, you put a curse on both of them. It is your fault, Billy!

Sorry, I am immersed in that stuff here. My girlfriend swore the cripple who comes round to clean shoes gave her the evil eye, so we are living with a root of aloe vera taped to the wall, oozing a trickle of brown juice down my fresh paintwork.

I voted for him to - he was the best player on that pitch in a charlton shirt that season. Simple.

Less than a year, FHB. SCP finally realized his talent, albeit in a 'udders shirt <cheers>. But seriously, I think he's easily a top 10 championship team material. He's a talent who's proven his worth in the championship. This moves to me suggests he realises the need to get first team football, and at the franchise, he *should*. He's also up for a fight, and that *should* be the case at winkleworth Utd.

With nearly 500 club appearances and plenty of controversial moments both on and off the field, it's difficult to forget Lee Bowyer. The former Leeds, Newcastle, and West Ham man now runs a carp fishing lake ('Etang de Bows') in France's Champagne region. (PA/Anglers Mail)

There was a Lee Bowyer at Charlton once. Guess not him.

Incredibly frustrating seeing Liverpool fans on Twitter praising their youngster Joe Gomez.

Although obviously I'm pleased he's mixing it.

Must be weird for someone like Steve Avory to see.
