  3. We were there for the taking in the second half. If We'd got the couple we deserved in the forest half though...

Always confident that Migs will deal with the crosses

Swap Lucas for Henderson and this team will be strong this season. Sturridge still to come in and Moreno could be a very useful sub.

Thought he played really well. 1 moment at the end when he flapped but other than that, made some good saves and caught/punched the ball well from crosses.

Arsenal had a lot of possession and got into some good positions but they didn't create that many clear cut chances.

3 in the midfield gives us so much more balance between defence and attack.

Agreed, he hasn't played and was starting to be late for tackles instead on bang on the money like in the first half. Good decision from Rodgers. Crazy to lose him now that once again he's proved his worth. You might not be his biggest fan Jimmy but if we are not going to buy we'd be nuts to get rid.

Such a great opportunity squandered. They were there for the taking. We should have been in front and defend a 2 goal lead in the second half. They dominated that second half anyway. So no different.

When you are gifted an opportunity like that at the Emirates, it's got to be taken. I don't think arsenal can be that bad again.

Thought Lovren & Skrtel were rock solid again today. I know we go on about Sakho and I like him more than Lovren but how can you drop Lovren when team has kept 3 clean sheets in a row?

Don't mind losing him - he was ok but physically he's ruined. But losing him and NOT replacing him - now that's suicide.

We saw today and the game against Stoke - put in a DM and it improves us at both ends of the pitch.

As long as we keep clean sheets the defense cannot change.

    You can't drop them. Simple.

They were solid overall and the deep line favours Skrtel, and I don't wanna be moaning after a great team performance but they both made some basic errors. Lovren has improved slightly - Skrtel is still the worry for me.

Gomez and Clyne though. Both brilliant.

Took an injury to force him to drop a certain non performing attacker but yes he picked well.
