Oh god, I may have been on the pitch for a few seconds but I'd rather lick dog turd off a pavement in pennywell :emoticon-0119-puke:

Is licking dog turn off a pavement in Pennywell any worse than licking one off the pavement in Darras Hall?

**** is **** as far as I'm concerned. If someone forced me to eat a dog **** soufflé, the food the dog had previously eaten would be the least of my worries.

    Orly?

So you'd rather munch into someones "creation" after they just ate a curry as opposed to other foods?

    Think it might be.

I think the lad in the green shirt was one of the three arrested.

Sorry, but those that ran on the pitch shouldn't be done. I think those that properly ran on and into the middle were stupid and those that took their time getting off were arseholes, but the only ones that should be prosecuted are those that fought/tried to start fights. Those should get bans for life

The club should be docked points, no questions asked, its the only thing these mindless morons understand, maybe the genuine supporters will keep them in line then.

Yeah fans run on the pitch ONCE (in recent years), so how on this basis how many points should Sunderland have lost bearing in mind 4 or 5 times (including England v Turkey in 03) home fans at the Stadium of Light have ran on the pitch. As for fighting that was started by Darlo fans who have a lot less fan than us and seem to have a bigger problem, as the majority of their supporters at Gateshead invaded the pitch and were looking for fights.

I agree, people can get caught up in atmosphere and it's pretty harsh to hand out bans to people who were on the pitch for about 30 seconds.

Or maybe it would just aggravate people more? You cant dock points from one club when the other was partially to blame.

That's ridiculous, it's not my place to keep other supporters in line. I go to watch a game of football, I was sick to the stomach about last night, it was awful but confronting drunken yobs... no way we'd all be brawling. As for deducting points can't see how that would work.

I remember a few years ago coming out of a cup game at St James against Tottenham, saw this group of 4 or 5 Newcastle fans start on this one Tottenham fan this group of old men were telling them to stop they took no notice I shouted something to get them to stop and straight away knew it was the wrong thing to do so me and my mate I was with just starting running. I was told my other people who found about it I was wrong to shout and risked getting beaten up myself.

Had a similar situation the season we got relegated, I was walking past the gate with my cousins "Two wee boys", who were visiting from N Ireland and using my brothers and their uncles tickets. The next thing a bit of a scuffle started in front of us, some older (not elderly) men decided they were going to thump some young lads. I think all they did was speak with a different accent, they were clearly students not supporters. Anyway I shouted for them to pack it in, there were kids about and got a load of abuse but one of the blokes tried to justify himself by saying I didn't understand, he got battered at Arsenal six years prior. Well it was hardly these lads was it, we went up the back lane and a cab driver opened his door for us to sit in his cab until they'd passed, the youngest of the boys kept asking had I ever seen anyone get a bloody nose before, he was dying to tell his mates at home. !!!!
