Personally, we were not aware of the criteria when I collected the tickets for him! Still, as he said, t was money well spent
Bri, Wales is not even a country, It's a principality owned by Britain. Now where did I put that jar of mint sauce?
If Swansea v Newcastle is really such a big attraction it makes me wonder why only 17,000 Swansea supporters were there last week.
Are you saying there were 3000 Newcastle fans there? The away allocation is 2000 and Newcastle didn't bring 2000.
There was only 20,000 for your first home match of the season. Whether you had 17 or 18,000 it hardly puts you in a position to puff your chest out.
Dunno mate, it looked bigger when I went last season ...... the town isn't great either, small and run down.
If 'nobody' means becoming an established side in the PL and admired around the world for whst we have done on and off the field I'll take that. Afterall other than propping up the PL table, what purpose does Sunderland have existing? Can't play football and fans emptying the stadium game after game quicker than you lot sliding into the relegation zone. We've earned the right to be in this league, must be jelous at the realisation your club will never be admired like ours.
Wind Street is decent and Mumbles beach is very nice. The city itself is a bit naff though and I dare say it is because the majority of Wales' money goes to improving Cardiff.
Unfortunately, you are quite correct! The Cardiff Taffia ensure that the crapital city gets a disproportionate amount!
Yeah, we had a good look along the beach and ate at the far end .......... won't go back this season.
You HAVE earned the right yo be in this league.... CORRECT ! So at the end of this AMAZING journey which has gained you ADMIRATION from around the WORLD... You get to play a team (Sunderland) who according to you can't play football ?? Well done for getting to these dizzy heights! As for being jealous... Really ?!?!? We've been in the lower echelons of the league structure (albeit not as low as Swansea) and I've helped fill grounds around the country with these amazing supporters. Yes, we are currently struggling in the 'best' league in the world whilst continuing to average 40,000 crowds. I support a club with an amazing history... League wins, FA Cup wins etc etc I first visited The Vetch with Darlington..... Me and my mates numbered more than your pathetic support at the SoL. Enjoy the ride with the big boys.... And who knows ... One Day... MAYBE ... One day.. You'll have a history that can rival Wigan, Burnley etc etc ?
What puzzles me is, why don't they call in Abertawe? If the Welsh actually do speak Welsh, and are proud of it, why do Swansea use the name the English gave the place?
Hey boyo, didn't you know that Newcastle is only in the next vaaaaalley to Sunderland and they even got trains and buses to ride back and forward if you want. Visit the area twice a year then. There's lovely.
