If I had a sister, I'm sure she would. And I'm sure a couple of smooth talking internet charmers like yourselves would be her first port of call.

    Afternoon all,

Just to pick up on the Byram situation, I too hav noticed a dip in his form. I know from a source very close to him that he's a Leeds boy through & through, and has no interest in moving elsewhere at this point in time, so I don't believe for a moment that another club has turned his head.

This is the bit where I put 2 & 2 together now. He's just restarted contract negoiations which were abandoned before the end of last year, where Cellino wanted him to sign a long contract on less money. Murphy has been held up as an example of this, but people forget that Byram was on his first 'big boy' contract, and was probably on peanuts compared to what Murphy was, and now is paid. I suspect that he rightly feels that he should be paid at least as much as Murphy, but has probably reached the point in negotiations now that he's been hit by an ultimatum - sign this now sonny, or we sell you to one of the PL clubs that are sniffing around. I can see that affecting the lad more than any club showing an interest in him. It's the sort of thing I might do. A wee message - try & sell me now, Cellino - or something of that ilk.

    Just sayin' ...

Afternoon Elland. Can't see us acquiring someone who may or may not be a success and future legend whilst at the same time selling one of our academy who is already progressing nicely

Then you know nothing about Massimo cellinos business model.
It's exactly how he ran caligari for over ten years

Possibly so Chippy, but we're still a bigger club than Caligari ever will be. ore to the point, I can't see our supporters settling for us continuing to sell our talent for anything other than silly money

Again why do you think cellino gives a rats arse about supporters. When caligari fans voiced disquiet he banned them from the ground and stopped selling and honouring season tickets.

Problem is, regardless of what the exact cause of what's affecting him is, he's no use to us if he's not on his game. He was woeful on Saturday. I like him, I want him to stay and I think he should be offered a fair contract reflecting his squad status, but if Cellino's insistent on playing hardball, then we may as well get rid. An unfocused Byram is not a Championship quality player, unfortunately.

There are loads of villages and footballer type mansions in Herts and Essex, all easily commutable to Watford FC. He also has access to the heart of London in 20 mins and of course 30 mins to Heathrow off season should he wish to see family back home.

I'm speculating that this is exactly what Byram is doing to thwart Cellino.

No he didn't,Caligari season tickets were a much bigger saving than ours,he was annoyed with the fans so he made them pay full price but didn't ban all fans. Also notice they went down first season without him.

There's only 1 anti christ and its not him.
