So it's pretty clear that the Swans fans are very touchy about their feeble away support, duly noted.

He fell into using the American English spellchecker instead of the ancient Briton one.

You know, you'd think we beat Swansea with an offside goal or a handball or something - not had a victory taken away from us by a cheating defender/referee! Bitter little fella's some of them aren't they!

Not really. Sunderland away is one of the least popular trips of the season. We take far more to Newcastle so that would suggest people either regard Newcastle as a bigger game or regard Sunderland as a sh.ithole <laugh>

Well, only supporting your side if you like the city the home team plays in is a piss poor way to support your team, so that does tally with what I already thought.

I'm embarrassed for you if that's the criteria picking away trips. Sunderland fans tend to grab any they can when they can due to sheer demand.

17 away games sold out last season. Proper support

Proper supporters wouldn't keep walking out on their team before half time surely?

Proper supporters would want to see their players compete in their own country's domestic competitions and become champions of their own country instead of a nobody in another country.

A paying customer can do what the **** he/she likes...
Once they've paid the entrance fee (which is supporting their club).. It's up to the team to entertain!

SAFC fans have had nowt/little to shout about for 40+ years and we still travel in numbers regardless.
There is NOTHING anyone can say that will change that. FACT :emoticon-0148-yes:

It's easy to sell out when you don't take a FULL allocation.

People have budgets and there are many factors which affect why people go/don't go to matches. Obviously Sunderland away doesn't tick many boxes for Swans fans.

You didn't bring a FULL bus full never mind a full allocation.
Imagine your away support if you were doing badly??

Not always the case - supporters have to join the Jack Army. If not, you pay the full price. For example, my son, who lives in London, paid £50 to watch the Chelsea match!

I would have imagined loads of you would have taken up the offer. Is that not the case, ie does the small print mean it isn't as good a deal as it sounds?
