Play Graham & Watmore up front and see if they can get the goals, be a bit of a confidence booster if they can, leave M'Vila on for game time, add Wes Brown to the back four and give Coates the night off. That would do me.

We've played them 4 times. Twice in the 30s and twice in the 80s. All cup games, drawn both times then we won the replays.

I remember the Exeter away 2-2 game, we were 2-0 down and Exeter had a fantastic home record, and went to the replay the next game was Coventry home 5th round 27,000 I was in the roker end and we drew, went to the replay which we lost 5-0 ! 25 years ago as well, how time flies.

Watmore not starting is odd. Lens and Mannone injured + u21 only playing yesterday means I can't see much change in personnel. That could be a good thing I suppose if the night goes well. I think we'll see a 4-3-3 with our 3 strikers all starting. Width will have to come from the full backs.

You're dropping our classiest looking player who needs minutes? An hour for M'Vila surely?

Have to say that side looks pap. Hope to god we get some transfer movement fast.

M'Vila should definitely play for me, he's at that level where's so far off match fitness he's barely even in good shape. The more he plays the better at the moment.

At the away game at 2-2 Tommy Hauser, who had only just come on, broke through one on one with the keeper and the keeper saved it. The guy behind me said "Just saw tomorrow's headlines "Exeter sunk by German sub""

The Football League has announced that a minute’s silence will be held before all Capital One Cup matches on Tuesday and Wednesday as a mark of respect to those who lost their lives in the Shoreham air disaster.

Two Worthing United players, Matthew Grimstone and Jacob Schilt, both 23, were among the victims of Saturday’s crash.

Both players supported Brighton, with the former a member of the club’s ground staff. The Championship team will play their second-round match at Walsall on Tuesday evening.

Shaun Harvey, the Football League’s chief executive, said: ”This minute’s silence will give football fans across the country the opportunity to pay their respects to Matthew, Jacob and all those who lost their lives in this terrible accident.

“On behalf of the Football League our condolences go to everybody at Brighton and Hove Albion, Worthing United and to all those outside of the football family who have been rocked by Saturday’s shocking events.”
