And we'd probably have won had Mane not got kicked in the face. We were the better team early on and he was a key part of that. What's the point of what if? We have won nothing but lost just once. We are within a win of the top half. We have good players coming back. But what if they all caught the plague?
That doesn't tell the whole story and you know it. Mane had 2 great chances at the end against Newcastle to win it. We never came close to scoring against Watford.
I think if we look at the table after 10 games we'll be more satisfied with the first 3 results .Everton gave City a real scare yesterday and Newcastle have improved.
I'm not arguing with that. But if Watford had scored there (and 9 times out of 10 they will, we were very lucky) we would have lost as I couldn't see us scoring.

You don't know what effect a goal might have had. Koeman may well have withdrawn Caulker under those circumstances and put on Juanmi who may then have scored etc etc. I just don't think you can say we deserved to lose that game at all. If anything, both sides deserved to lose!
So what Tom? What do you want and what do you expect and why do you think you are entitled to expect it?
I never said that, can you not put words in my mouth please. I said we should have lost because Watford missed a sitter and we never looked like scoring. True, a goal could have kicked our arses into gear and we would have piled players forward, but then we could have been caught on the break and concede again.

No Tom, petulance because in the example posted, you wouldn't consider the other things that happened like our shots on target, you just wanted to consider the sitter they missed, because that suited your view. Every time some people counter someone's opinion, they get shot down for countering that opinion. When you post an opinion, people may counter it - it is a forum. It's ok for you to post an opinion and ok for someone to counter it. that's the point. You start effing and jeffing just because a few people have countered you. I think maybe those who said you were angry may have a point now. Joe and Dan left because they didn't want to post anymore.
