you picked your team based on a three week purple patch for teams / players I didn't see what happened yesterday. Way I see it, if you (as in everyone but you) lose despite the 140pt advantage then you don't deserve to win.
i can play my wild card..... just saying.... actually i can go thought EVERYONES teams still and have unlimited transfers this week
Your first point is exactly that. Mito was mouthing off that he had x y and z in his team, all players that scored loads of points. And my point was, it's easy to do that now after 3 weeks because you just filter by points scored and pick the ones at the top. No where did I mentioned he couldn't join, he had an advantage or anything, just that you're best to have the best players in the league so far if you've had 3 weeks of action to study them
Yeah I quoted him. Don't know what the problem is but I tried using it yesterday and couldn't. Even more pissed off with it now.
maybe you are clicking on play wildcard without making any transfers. Do your changes and click play wildcard. You can make more changes as long as its before the start of the games of the next gameweek
Yeah this, I'm sure I tried clicking on it first. Making a right mess of it!!! It shouldn't bother me as I'm **** at it anyway but I'd rather be **** on my own terms. I've messed up the wildcard before and changed everyone and not clicked it taking 30+ points off me. I'm a fantasy footy ****ing genius!
I've done dream / fantasy teams for years and I know all too well that players have purple patches. For example, picking a random player here; Aguero. If he scored in the opening three games of the season, there is no way he could sustain that scoring rate. He's not going to get 38 league goals this season. Last year, Ramsey got a lot of goals early on as did Giroud, both have done it early on but then faded for the last couple of season. simply put, they can't sustain the scoring levels they started with. On the other side of the coin, Rooney as started very slowly this year. However, history tells us that he averages around a combined total 30 goals/assists in majority of season. Therefore, I would have thought his slow start will get better at some point. he usually as a purple patch at some point too. Bascially, what I am saying is MITO as picked the early form players but none of them will be able to sustain that level of contribution for an entire season. they have already used up a proportion of their contribution in the opening two/three games.
It comes up as soon as you make a change more than you're allowed (when it gives you -4 points in a red box). You then just tick the wildcard option.
except past perfrmance doesn't really mean they've used up anything eg. someone said something about james morrison getting his goals all v cheslea... but thats not sure is it? he coudl get 15 more for all we know. In any event.... the issue is while rooney starts slow someone gets 30/40 points more than you then when rooney starts form transfers him in. Besides.......... all i'm doing is acting the **** and hope to scrape top 10 and annoy the **** out of everyone then by claiming i would have won if bothered
yes you have to be losing points to play the wild card so you have to have that option. any advice as to who i should put in
You should get top ten if you're coughing up as you'd be the tenth entry PS...plus you'll only be a few points behind Nozzer
