Funky thinks Sunderland have done better business than us this season and our squad is as bad as theirs? FFS
What's wrong with Macilroy? I like Mac. I get where you're coming from, he's an ugly bastard, bit smug etc but he's class at golf. I tell you what, I'd love to smash James Cordon's face in using Jack Black's head as a bat.
Mate, he's told you he's not got the time for you any more, you've burnt too many bridges. I think you're a nice lad, but what can I say?
I can still laugh at him, it's not hurting anyone as he won't even see it His bitterness on here has been hilarious
James Corden is so cushioned you could punch his face for days. That bloke of the Last leg with claws as hands. I'd love to punch him.
That's like taking the mickey out of somebody that's completely defenceless Yes . . . . you're hilarious, Thrush
No were saying who we'd like to punch based on their face Being defenceless is merely a coincidental bonus <whislte>
**** sake, I don't watch that but I know exactly who you mean. Also... Stephen Mulhern... I could punch his face til the cows come home. Your pal Cardew is buzzing around.
Ah right. It kind of went with what I said about The Claw Hadn't realised that arsehole was about. Still on ignore
Haha fair enough, I'll try and ignore his outrageous posts henceforth I'm delighted tbh, although I think we've neglected the key area that needed strengthening - defence. Our midfield and attack are absolutely on the money now. Once we're settled down I'd like to see something like this: ...Sissoko Wijnaldum Thauvin Perez Aarons ............Mitrovic That leaves the likes of Cisse, De Jong, Colback, Anita on the bench. Unfortunately, we're still going to struggle to win as many games as we should because of our defence. Putting faith in Coloccini is a massive mistake, his heart hasn't been in it for 2 years. He gets beaten to every header. He and Mbemba are both under 6 foot and we've been punished for that with 3 headed goals conceded already this year. I'd much sooner put Taylor next to Mbemba personally but we're crying out for a 6 foot 4 beast to go in there. Left back, we have Haidara and Dummett. That's ****e. Right back, if Janmaat is suspended (as he probably will be for half of the season) then we already have to play someone out of position, no RB cover whatsoever. Then not to mention, in goal we have crisp packet hands Krul. He is nowhere near the goalkeeper his potential should have seen him become. I think we're hoping to get a couple more years out of him before bringing Freddie Woodman through, he really looks like the real deal. Noises from the England U17's is they really fancy him to keep for England one day. Overall, I'm delighted with our summer spending and amazed that Ashley kept his word, although some would argue this is just making up for the last 5 years of "austerity". We're 2/3 signings away from having a squad I would be utterly ecstatic with but overall I'm happy. I think we've picked the right coach too to make sure we extract the maximum we can from each individual. I'm cautiously optimistic of top 10 this season. How are you feeling about your lot? Still at least a striker and defender short for me. And what about the De Gea situation? Mental.
It does! Yeah he's still around mate, like a little harmless pigeon pecking at the little scraps you drop.
Few of your lads will have to eat their words if McClaren does well I reckon. As long as you're happy with what you've brought in, that's all that matters to Mike Ashley, he loves you all like his own children Seriously, they all looked either decent, promising or very ****ing good on Saturday.
I think the majority of fans are happy with McLaren even if there were other options they might have preferred. It will just be nice to have a proper manager who isn't a **** for the first time in 5 years. Taylor was quality on Saturday, he's prone to the odd lapse but honestly I think he's underrated. I'd be happy with him and Mbemba as a pairing.
Funny everybody pining for De Boer a while ago, Ajax just got ditched out of the Champions League by Rapid Vienna. Maybe he's not the new Mourinho afterall.
