    It was a stonewaller of a penalty though. Ambrose is clumsier than Gambol trying to play Simply The Best on a bassoon. <ok>

    It's true. My bassoon playing days were tragically cut short. Luckily I can still manage a stirring rendition of chopsticks on the piano.

    To be fair to myself I did crack the piano joke when I was in Hospital in the immediate aftermath of my accident. The Consultant came in to check on me and I asked "Will I be able to play the piano?". She looked oddly at me and said "I'm afraid not, your injury is quite extensive." and then held my hand. "Oh, that's ok", said I, "I couldn't anyway".

    I thought it was hilarious. She didn't. The bitch got her own back a couple of months later when she broke my finger pulling the pins out with pliers. Nobody believed me until 2 days later they x-rayed and found she had broken it. I mentioned lawsuit to the senior Consultant and never saw the bitch again.

    True story.
