Feeling quite positive about tonight's game actually.

I know we have our disagreements over Flanno but I'm curious as to your thoughts on Gomez in comparison? Do you rate Gomez, and who do you think is better?

 

Flanno is the better full back. Gomez will be the better CB.

Flanno performed very very high standard for a whole season, Gomez has done well in 2 games, can't compare them atm

 

Last time he felt his bones didn't it lead to an adjustment in the man purse area?

 

Might as well just get the whole squad photo...

 

I think Gomez looks good but it is also early days. My initial thoughts are he would be better suited at CB since he doesn't offer much going forward, he very rarely ventures forward at all.

Flanno as been out for a long time so we'll have to wait and see if he can get back to the sort of form he showed in the 2013-14 season. If he can, I'd play Flanno LB with Clyne RB and look to move Gomez central.

As Biscan said, its not really fair to compare them. It would be like asking who was the better player out of Hyypia and McManaman!

 

HIAG will be feeling his bone tonight as he will try to wum Arsenal and Liverpool whatever the result.

It's bound to fail though. Even without his special ability to **** up his wum attempts, whatever the score both Liverpool and Arsenal will still be above Spurs

 

Brenda has been speaking about Arsenal in his pre match comments and how most of the goals scored against Arsenal at home have come where teams have very little possession and hit us on the counter. I've got a feeling he might set you up quite defensively and allow us to have possession. That's okay if you have fast players who can hit us on the break, but I think it will suit us really. Personally I think you'd be better coming at us and trying to attack, we still look a bit ropey at times in defence whilst Cech and the back four get used to each other.

 

Brod doesn't know how to setup up defensively. He didn't do it for the Real Madrid games last year so why would he do it against Arsenal?

There is a difference between setting up defensively and being forced to defend too.

 

I agree, if we play hoof ball against you lot and "try" to defend and hit you on the counter, you'll knock 3 to 4 past us..
Us having a go at you will likely bring more joy but I still think the end result will be an Arsenal win..
2-1 at best, most likely 3-1...
